alright gd, i need a little-bit of advice. i wanna roll a darkspear troll on an rp-realm, but i’m very indecisive on what class to make’em. all i know, is i wanna have good lore/rp-potential, but… it’s tricky figuring out which to go with.
do i wanna be something grounded in reality (like hunters/warriors)? something with the voodoo/juju/mojo? something to do with the loa? it’s… quite a tricky choice.
so please, would you kindly help me figure out which is best for a darkspear troll?
Shaman, Priests and Warriors are good.
Rogue and make a shadow hunter. That could be cool.

My darkspear troll is a Surv Hunter.
In my head cannon, the Animal aspects are Loa Blessling, and I use Various traps and poisons to take down my enemies like a Shadow Hunter.
I can even throw Chakrams.
I’m a bit biased because darkspear are one of my favorite races, but I think just about all the classes they can be suit them pretty well… druids are a bit iffy maybe, and monk might seem weird at first glance but if you imagine them abandoning the pandaren-monk flavor for something more jungle-troll, it works.
This is my vote.
A raptor and spear together are very fitting for a Darkspear troll. I feel survival hunters are the most like shadow hunters theme-wise as well. Them and rogues.
Shamans are also a good pick in my opinion.
I’d go with shaman. A lot of the options really work with their mojo and voodoo lore. But they just look cool in shaman gear
Make a druid. Do it for Gonk!
I made a troll survival Hunter, closest I could get to being like vol’jin currently. I really wish we had some more racial flavor with classes- different spell names, maybe slightly different animations, like heroism vs bloodlust but race specific.
shadow priest or warlock if you wanna mess with the voodoo.
Warrior, shaman as well of course.
