Best Class for Farming?

They made some changes and so I’m stuck on what class to play for a solid farming experience.

As you all can see, I played a warrior last time, and well… Not the best for farming.

Mages, locks and hunters were all good at farming in Classic, but I know they made some changes. What do you guys think will be a good farmer this time around? I just don’t want to be broke again.

Edit: Also, how did they break tribute runs? Or at least hunters farming DM:N.

Not the best, but Paladins are actually pretty decent farmers.

You can do something like this 30/21/0 spec: https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/paladin/0550311051135-053020334001, raid heal, solo farm DM: E Lashers (not as quickly/efficiently as a mage, but still quite well, and if you’re a herbalist, it’s a pretty decent farm).

You can also do some farms in EPL, and tank dungeons, esp. ones with lots of UD like Scholo, which you can also do for unneeded/dark runes. Those types of runs seemed to fill up with level 57+ rogues/druids, and yield somewhat better GPH than lasher farming for me during WoW Classic, but of course YMMV and SoM may be different.

Mage, warlock, hunter, priest (kinda in that order too) all still viable, not going to mention their farms as the nerfit mafia will step in and start crying (nothing secret, it’s all out there).

Arms warriors.

Mages are still the best.
