Hi I am looking to start playing with my fiance who is completely new to the game. I’m looking for recommendations for a good beginner class for her. Her preference is range DPS and/or healer.

Mage. A lot of people are going to say Hunter because, yeah it’s pretty easy to play, but the whole deal about having to train your pet and go out and find very specific mobs to learn certain abilities can be a bit complicated if you don’t know where to look for outside resources
Mage, just go Frost. It’s pretty hard to mess up a one button rotation, plus with access to free food and water as well as teleports and portals there’s way less “in town management” to worry about

If they are new to the game druid is a good choice. It offers rdps, mdps, tank, and healer options and for the most part each option is simple to do decent with. They wont be top dps, best tank, or best healer, but it offers a lot of options with only leveling 1 character.
Hunter and Warlock are great beginner classes that are very self-sufficient.
If they want to be a Healer Priest is also very good and easy to play.
Hunter, Warlock, or Shaman if on horde in that order imo. Pet classes are generally pretty easy to deal with and shaman’s are great for low level gameplay since they can self sustain with heals but unlike most casters they are able and expected to do things in melee at times. Same is kind of true for pally, but since most of it’s dps gameplay is purely in rune’s its harder for me to recommend to a newbie.
Warlock, she’ll get a lot of use out of the soul stone as a noob and they’re very strong.
