Best and Worst Dungeon of BFA

Alright, we have been doing these for a while now. So which one do you dread and which one do you love?

Please refrain from any “I hate them all and they were much better in [insert random xpac]”

My favorite is Shrine of the Storm. I like the layout, the theme, and the constant use of interrupts being so important. I feel all the bosses are also well done and unique.

Least favorite is Seige of Borallus. I dislike all the stuns you have to move for, bosses feel a bit gimmicky, and too much of the scenery gets in the way making me adjust my camera. With all the moving around dodging stun mechanics I feel like I am constantly rearranging my camera.

it pretty much depends on the week’s affixes

Best: Shrine of Storms
Worst: Underrot

Best: temple, atal, freehold and waycrest(combination of how easy they can be, along with the layout, and an aesthetically pleasing design and atmosphere)
Waycrest is a big creepy mansion filled with witches, undead, and charmed mobs. Reminds me of the mansion in resident evil.

Worst: Shrine, Underrot and Kings rest. They can all go die in a fire.

Bfa dungeons are mostly pretty great though, with some challenging and interesting fights.

There’s something evil about Underrot. It’s almost as if the Devil himself created it. It was the last time I attempted mythic+ this expansion, and even on an entry level 2 it seemed impossible with pugs.

I love the mansion one, forgot the name of it. Feels like i’m exploring a haunted house each time I run it.

I think they did a great job with the dungeons this expansion.

Underrot and Waycrest Manor are probably my favorite.

Temple is probably my least favorite least favorite but it’s still a good dungeon.

Shrine is my least favorite.

Best, uh, dont really have a favorite.

I love Waycrest for its asthetics and the fact that it’s a different dungeon every time because of the doors.

I really don’t like Shrine because of how it seems every affix messes with it significantly. The loot table is also generally not worth it for me.

Best none because I can’t solo them yet.

Like Motherlode, Waycrest.
Rest are ok, no worst, just ok.

Best: Temple of Sethrakk. The best part of the dungeon is also the worst part of the dungeon, which makes it the best part of the dungeon. (the electric mazes)

Worst: Underrot; that dungeon can be burned in a holy fire, there’s no redeeming that pile of garbage.

(second worst would be siege of boralas, if only because the first time through it was earlier today when I was grouped up with a DH tank with ants in his pants)

I’m personally Not a fan of dungeona like Waycrest and Tol Dagor because of the narrow corridors play havoc on camera positioning… Especially on weeks with affixes like quaking and sanguine.

I think most dungeons are pretty well done, I like Freeholds openness and King’s Rest/Atals trollish atmosphere

I enjoy Waycrest a lot. It has a unique aesthetic as far as WoW dungeons go. Plus it’s a good challenge on most affixes, but it usually doesn’t feel too over the top.

Another one I somehow like is Temple of Sethraliss. Sure, the third boss can drive me crazy, but I like the atmosphere and the creative mechanics as far as dungeons go.

I never enjoy Shrine. It’s a slog no matter what.

Atal’dazar is another one that I don’t particularly enjoy, and it’s mostly because the dungeon doesn’t feel memorable. I use it more as a warm up dungeon.

Siege or tol dagor are pretty fun.

The rest are mostly terrible. A mixture of awful trash mechanics, annoying bosses, annoying los and corner bugs. The absolute worst are definitely kings rest and shrine though because of the terrible trash pulls (with underrot last boss being the least fun boss they’ve created)

I don’t much enjoy any of the current ones. SOB the first time I ran it as part of completing the jainia stuff was cool, but the mechanics and trash weren’t particularly fun.

Same for the others.

Things made hard just for the sake of hardness, and relying on (ILVL scaling to keep it hard and to much trash to tightly packed, not fun.

But the thing I really hate is the go go go that can be traced to the dang M+ Beat the clock mentality.

I wish that M+ were maybe harder, but just a full clear, not a beat the clock for each key.

Introducing that destroys any fun and makes it a job to just get it done.

anyone saying best shrine clearly doesnt do M+

Best = FH - WC - AD - UR - TOS
Worst = Shrine/Siege - ML - TD - KR

I pretty much like all the dungeons for different reasons. Each has their own uniqueness when it comes to being apart of BfA. I like that they are different. I actually enjoy doing them far more then the raids. I think my favorite dungeon was Temple of Sethraliss. It has a feeling of old school WoW dungeons.

I only which that there were meaningful rewards for doing dungeons. Warfronts and Island expeditions are the most pointless unchallenging game play in the history of WoW and yet they give out much better rewards then dungeons. It makes no sense.
