3 doesn’t exist for me. Just because it totally ruins the well earned victory for Ripley, Newt, Bishop and Hicks.
Seriously. You have the story of Ripley grieving the loss of her daughter while she was asleep, having that maternal mama bear story arc with Newt. While you also get an Alien Queen wanting to protect her babies. AND THEN YOU JUST GO “nAH THEY’RE ALL DEAD”? It’s just…ugh.
