Again, your simplistic views show lack of true understanding of healing, that said I am sure you are a fine healer in most ERA raids where people go in typically over geared.
I wish I could spam rank 4. It’s more swift mends, and nature swift rank 10 healing touches on CD, and spamming rank 1 insect swarms,.
I also wish it was just heal the tank. You warriors are so brain dead I get 3 warriors in zerk stance that all need equal healing in 5mans ffs. What tanks? Be doing 400 hps in brd cuz of zug brain.
I heal high keys in retail, I feel like a smooth brain, and like I’m trolling my group if I don’t use them, because I know they exist.

Cant count the braindead healers I get sometimes in classic that don’t dispel anything because they are probably using the base UI and miss lots of curses/diseases/poisons/magic debuffs. Or don’t have their cleanse abilities bound properly.
Vuhdo ( and other addons ) have ways to show when someone is about to rip aggro off a tank too, if you are a paly/priest you can pre shield them ( great on blizzard spam mages because they wont take casting loss if they get hit while the shield holds - or damage ) You wont see this until the mob is literally running at the mage because the base UI doesn’t show this. You can actively see how is ripping threat off who and prep a heal as needed.
You can see when someone has casted a same or stronger ability that might not “stack” on the same target. You can also see incoming healing from other healers easily. ( base UI doesnt show this too ) In raids it is helpful to not have multiple people sending a heal on the same person, even if the other healer’s cancel the cast to save mana after that target was healed they still wasted 1-2 seconds when they could have targeted someone else.
The base UI is horrible and having a cleaner and better UI can help people react faster. Vuhdo also lets you easily bind healing to clicks if you hate mouseover macros/binding everything and manually targeting people. ( you shouldn’t be manually targeting people )
Course they arent “needed” but this is 2024 and people like QOL addons. Also OP asked for an addon that shows what they want, you are off topic here and no one cares how you played the game 20 years ago.
@ OP there is no best, some are more UI reworks/updates than anything, any of the suggestions in this thread outside of the one warrior stroking his ep33n should be fine for what you are looking for.
With an incoming heal addon I was able to get top heals and bottom overheals on my paladin in BWL. Without an incoming heals addon you have what like healers/40 chance to target someone another healer is already healing. Having an addon to show incoming heals is beneficial for raid healing. Now if your job is to spam an assigned tank then it doesnt matter.
