I’ve had pretty good luck with aff/spriest and fdk/feral. Got aff/spriest to almost 2.1 and fdk/feral to 1950ish.
I played spriest/ unholy on my dk to around 2.1, felt like an invincible killing machine. Lot of fun
Ret/Demo - Aff/Spriest are both really really insane comps that basically only lose to double dps hunter teams.
I think rogue mage has to be the best double dps 2s comp, but double hybrid can do pretty well too.

I do well with Feral/BM hunter and Feral/Arms warrior, pretty much feral anything I do great as.
Me and my buddy just started playing again and are planning on either playing ret/feral or ret/hunter. Either of these any good?
Both outstanding rn. Feral/ret would be my rec as I think its more forgiving, dynamic, etc. But for sure ret/mm makes highlight reels.
@op rm by far, spriest/feral things and other rogue/mage riffs occupy the distant and comparatively laughable second and lower. Ret comps are legit up to ~200 rating under the highest past mmr of anyone in party. After that they are abysmal. Maybe a sham comp out there that could break thru the rdru/venth priest bulk but nobody seems to care. Interest in spicing it up is minimal, whereas interest in churning out 8/9 gear on alts or carries for the price of a chicken sandy combo is at an all time high.

Thanks to necro and excessive hybrid healing, tons of double dps are viable in 2s.
I had no idea ele was so good in double dps. that is great
Rogue mage is literally disgusting play it and collect your free points with 0 punishment for any mistakes because you have more frequent goes and more outs than any one you’ll ever face

pace of the game is fast so you can play an extensive list of double dps comps to decent ratings in 2s, its nice, tho personally ive always been more of a dps/healer 2s guy since cata
