Best 1v1 class?

If a DH uses that against a rogue the DH is a moron.

You’d be surprised how many DH’s are morons.

SV is still the better option for world PvP. BM might as well be a sitting duck sadly. If you’re running a spirit pet for the heal, then you’re not getting masters call. Or, you’re not getting MS. I’d rather run with a hyena for the freedom and MS, but that means you have no heals. Still though, masters call is a must for any wpvp. BM is great in PvE, it just doesn’t have the output for PvP.

master’s call isn’t required due to the posthaste talent to break roots/slows or whatever movement impairment. Master’s call is completely useless in wpvp, and i am a full time wpvper, and SV has too many limits in wpvp to make it viable outside of closed space arenas, i.e. struggles to keep fleeing horde in combat such as druids who’ll flight form as soon as combat drops, monks who’ll zen, or situations where you need to kite demon hunters or the other various classes abusing leech in the openworld and also at the same time need to range kill the various critters in the vicinity to prevent them from getting 1-3 Million full overheals, also air combat is a necessity as a full time wpvper, something SV pretty much lacks (may be able to get 1-2 hits for a total of 50k or so on a glider but compare that to a BM who can get hundreds of thousands of damage in on a glider on a flying target who’s too high to net or eye.

Simply put, SV hunters are situational. BM on the otherhand are versatile and able to adapt essentially every sort of threat, obstacle, or type of wpvp as they thrive in the open space and have the tool kit to deal with even fleeing targets out in the open (inc. highly mobile classes such as monks, dh, and druids)

Me, once upon a time.

But then they gutted my self sustain, so.

The best 1v1 spec in game is ele shaman. They only lose to assa rogue

master’s call is useless in wpvp? It’s easily the most valuable ability in wpvp that hunter’s have. Post haste only removes existing slows. Nearly every other spec could instantly reapply.

The fact you would say it’s useless is mind boggling.

I feel like DH is the Noob Killer that is easy to play, which is why most players think they are so good. Anyone can roll a DH and be somewhat effective PvP. They can also be countered if you know when to stun and interrupt.

Rogues on the other hand have such a high skill cap which makes the difference between a good one and a bad one enormous.

This results in being able to defeat most bad Rogues in a 1v1 encounter. Facing a good rogue is a nightmare in my opinion and my least favorite match up in a 1v1 situation. They can keep you stun locked almost the entire encounter and reset whenever they choose.

I wreck DH’s.

They are only OP if you dont know how to counter them.

In Classic my rogue tears stuff up and it is in mostly green gear at level 60 tearing thru epic geared players with ease. My level 60 rogue will kill almost any player in a 1v1.

Did you just say rogues have a high skill cap?

Pool energy, toxic blade, kidney shot, win?

Oh wait didn’t win? Vanish and hide for 20 seconds and then do the exact same thing. There you go won this time.

Not DR’ing your kidney shot is not a high skill cap :joy:

29 replies and not one person has said WW? It’s the clear winner.

Perma meta and 400% leech?

IT’S YA BOY DEEE AYEEECHHH

WPVP and 1v1 are different. In WPVP there is terrain, NPC, random players to use.

WPVP, any range is useful as long as you have healer in group. Paladins? not so much you can make them chase you and lots of trash will be puled on them… Warlocks are dangerous in wpvp because there is usually chaotic battles, you see 1 player then second comes, you start fight and 5 more arrive , then 10 more and it goes like that.

Des warlocks use this to use long cast abilities with huge damage in this chaotic time when no one focuses them. Even if you go for them they have enough time to cast fear on you, then someone will hit you before you get back to them.

Rogues, great way to annoy someone, even kill player if you are alone, if not just just shadowmeld, only problem with rogues can be water, hunters usually can get you in water or any strong melee class and you will be stuck there with them, they will kill you .

Monks are great because some people can not tell real and clone, they have great damage as well, But as I said range is usually good.

You can use terrain, get on top of the buildings based on where you are, some people can’t fly and you hit them from there safely.

1v1 I can’t tell but sure paladins beat most people in duels.

If you are annoyed people killing you in solo, just go Paladin or Fury warrior, demolish them and break their bones. If you are annoyed in WPVP, rogue/monk for solo. Warlock/Druid for party of 3 - 5.

Do not shame yourself and do not play DH, this class is for people who… we know.

Rogue in greens…1Overpower…dead.

Rogue is great for avoiding wpvp because you have multiple NOPE abilities.

I miss the good ol days when warriors were the kings of 1v1

Rogue/WW Monk/Druid/DH/SV Hunter are the current best 1v1s

My level 60 Classic rogue would gank any toon you have in a 1v1 with ease. I have cleared full epic geared toons in a mater of seconds.

Balance was NOT on Blizzards mind back when Vanilla came out and now that the Classic version is out, balance is NEVER considered…fun is.

So yea. My level 60 sub can clear you out in a matter of seconds. I can two shot a clothie.

i like my DK in WPvP, but ONLY in WPvP. For the sole reason that i can 1shot mobs around the area to proc my Free Super Death Strikes and actually stay alive, whereas in instanced PvP DeathStrike is just trash.

Feral druids are pretty stronk in 1v1
