Berserker Shout not working

Berserker Shout talent is not working with berserker Roar when both talented.I got plenty of video of me using this talents and my healer is right next to me and it doesn’t dispell fear on my healer. He’s a horde and i’m alliance.

Are you in open world content? If so, your abilities won’t affect them even if they’re in your group.

I’m in arena, still not working.

Berserker roar will replace shout so the fear break isnt a thing its just a 50% reduction on next cc

Seems kind of silly. Why require shout then if it augments the base spell? It seems like a pretty steep requirement to have to consume both a deep talent and pvp talent slots. I suppose the argument can be that you’re speccing into the “shout” aspect but it feels like the dragon charge situation where we sacrificed existing utility to absorb a deprecated talent (ie; we used to be able to cast war banner concurrently with shout).

I think all of our discussion into what the devs are doing is missing the question of why are they doing it? I can only speak for the arms warrior spec but I feel like the old design philosophy of “more buttons mean more fun” is finally dying. Several design decisions recently seem to be pointing toward consolidating functionality into fewer buttons which lead into some spells carrying multiple duties or being relegated to more passive play (such as Sharpen Blade or the change in Dragon Flight made to Skull Splitter).

As much as I hate losing options, the ridiculous amount of buttons in wow is showing it’s age. The trend in games generally these days is either far fewer spells or far fewer slots and players need to choose the spells they want to use from a larger list. While I do prefer the current system wow has, I sometimes think it may be like how some people insist that manual transmission cars are better despite an automatic transmission making the driving experience accessible to everyone.

it only removes fear and in a 12 yard range. you basically have to be in melee range for it to go off
