Blizzard, I got 455 Titanforged boots in my weekly chest today. After running a sim, my 420 Benthic boots are still better for me as a raider. Please explain how this can remain the case in game? What incentive is there to even remain a mythic raider when I can do world quests and get the best gear!

Benthic gear is useless outside of raid.
Those 455 boots will be a bigger upgrade for M+ and PvP.
Also you’re not required to wear benthic pieces in order to access the raid, you’re wearing them cause some pretty number on the interwebs is higher inside ONE ZONE.

I’m perfectly fine with the lower ilvl piece being better than the higher ilvl piece in this situation.
For me, it’s always been about performance and not some thing arbitrary like ilvl. I use whatever I believe will perform best.
However, I think that the method in which Benthic is earned is unacceptable. The lotto is pretty bad and on top of that Manapearls are pretty much the currency of dailies.
I think the higher end content, Raiding in the context of PvE, should probably be what is giving out the best gear for PvE.

As someone who hates mythic + I 100% disagree. Doing timed dungeon runs is stupid and boring. They’re boring enough as is, adding a timer just makes it more stressful and makes everyone grumpy.
I think mechagon with just a flat set difficulty that’s decently difficult is fun, challenging, and though this one’s not rewarding could be way more fun if it were more rewarding.

I got boots 20 ilvl higher and they are 400 dps short of the benthic boots
Those things are stupid strong. Suppose I should be happy to have them, but doesn’t really feel like I did much for something so strong

Oh no Blizzard gave me multiple gearing paths to help with the RNG everyones been complaining about this xpac feel bad for me.
