So true. During MC there were still competitive blues but even then I dont think there was a bis blue item.

Is it really a problem if BiS for various slots is cross-âdisciplineâ? That design rewards playing the game as a whole instead of pretending all but one section donât exist which seems like a good thing to me.

Not sure if this is exactly what you mean but something like when tier would shift and suit your spec? The majority of secondaries for hpal right now arenât the best for prot or ret as far as off set pieces.
By cross-âdisciplineâ I was meaning BiS for raiding coming from WQs or BiS for PvP coming from raids, for example.
I wouldnât mind if gear were more spec-adaptive, though. I would probably tank and heal more if it were.
Lol mythic raiders dont ruin the game. Casuals that expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter do.
Ita casuals that have devolved this game into what it is. Because casuals whine about everything high end players get or have. Hardcore players have time, skill, or motivation to earn better things.
Casuals expect themselves to be rewarded and have awesome gear for doing a wq. Guess what? You have all that nowâŠyou are ruining wow, you got bejeweled casuals, what more do you want

I tho there is a cap on the upgrade right? like the max you could do is what 430+ ? how is that going to be better than M raiding gear?
Technically since vanilla youâd do quests/crafted gear to gear for dungeons and dungeons to gear for raid, itâs always been like that in one way or another. The only thing about BFA is they gave casual players another way is through world quests/warfronts without ever having to step into a single dungeon/raid. The problem with this is everyone does those things at the beginning because itâs faster to gear but if you intend on raiding heroic lets say thatâs your end game and you do world quests/warfronts for a prolonged period of time you skip lfr/norm and some of heroic gear progression, Iâm sure there have been people that did this and the only upgrades they were able to get in raid as upgrades were azerite/trinkets and or rings.
It reminds me of m+ in legion, I did thousands of m+ runs in the first 6 months of legion, the only upgrades I could possibly need out of mythic nighthold was trinkets and tier pieces.
Because it has the extra bonus on it for damage or healing. Can also have extra stats on it, or socket
Why do people always complain about everything? Iâm grateful of Benthic gear. Why call for a nerf? Now there going to listen to you and nerf it to the molten core on Azeroth with stats you your char doesnât need or want and be like 340 item level fully upgraded.
Why canât people enjoy whats given?

The proc on the benthic gear is out dpsing mythic socketed gear out of the new raid, procs > ilvl
The benthic gear has certain non-stat bonuses on it. For example, one of the boots options gives you 3% increased critical damage. Some of those bonuses, like those boots, are ludicrously strong, such that those boots at 425 with no socket are better for me than a warforged 455 boot from the mythic raid.
Itâs overtuned is why, 455 gear is meaningless with benthic gear tuned the way it is is what theyâre saying. Whatâs the point in raiding mythic when all you need to do is world quests in nazjatar, what reward do you get for doing mythic and no I donât consider downing bosses a reward nor do I think titles/achievements are worth it either.
There have been things that have happened like this in the past, Iâm sure they wonât let it stay for long and just nerf the procs so itâs not so overpowered or make the mythic gear even better, Iâm sure itâll eventually work it self out.
You being a loser and playing all day long every day of the week shouldnt be celebrated. The game should be gated at a pace adaptive to âcasualâ or ârealisticâ play. Jobs afterall do take priority over off time activities. Not to mention raising kids. Unfortunately for you, most of the people playing this game file under casual. We resemble the majority there champ.

They can just up the M+ gear to 475+ Benthic is not op the M+ Gear needs a upgrade.

I feel like the point of raids is that you can jump in, get a drop, and then jump out as apposed to having to grind out mana pearls behind a time-gate
99% of your replies are going to be from someone who isnât in our situation, farming manapearls on multiple toons to try and get gear.
That excuse of having a job/priorities is long past, I work 60+ hrs a week raid 8 hrs a week on a 2 day schedule and still clear mythic content. Personally I hate participation rewards for little to no effort and I would think itâd be pretty boring being stagnant below mythic raid difficulties and just getting handed loot every week.
