Seems like the issue is that Benthic gear can get sockets and some if the bonuses are too good

The devs stated that some benthic gear may be actually useful for the raidā¦ if itās true then they did something good.

I have pieces, And my properly itemized stats are vastly superior then them at the same ilvl, as demo has very tight secondary stat demands.
For example, letās look at the belt, a Heavy versatility belt is so unbelievably terrible for not just one, but all warlock specs that the belt isnāt even an option, regardless of its special OE effect.

Did I say anything about making mythics easier? No, please read the post. If mythics dropped something better than these benthic pieces I would be fine with them making raiding easier. I want running a heroic or mythic to be rewarding like it has always been in the past.
The benthic shoes for example, have an effect that increases all crit damage by 3%. Thats an insane buff and outweighs the stat increases from mythic raid quality gear (even with a socket).
No one is saying the benthic gear should be worthless or bad. But maybe find a way for it not to be better than mythic raid gear.

Just think everyone doesnāt have the same bis pieces. So you might not want a piece but another mail user might like your drop. I think you are too focused on the negatives.

world content absolutely is trivial when compared to mythic raiding. Is nazjatar harder than kultiras/zandalar world content? absolutely. is it harder than mythic raiding? not even close, and it shouldnāt give awards better than those found in mythic raiding.

The 425 benthic +critdam boots, with no socket, give me a greater damage boost than a set of warforged 455 crit/haste boots from eternal palace. Give the benthic boots a socket and itās not even close.
ā¦Yes. Nazjatar is pretty damn trivial. Takes me a whopping 40 minutes to get every single thing done there each day.

So the only reason you do anything in this game is for gear?
Is that the only thing you find rewarding about playing wow?
If you get nothing out of getting past that first raid boss then the second and on until you finally kill that last boss then i find it rather sad if all you find rewarding is getting a piece of gear.

This is poop, they said it was fine if gear came from multiple avenues. And this gear will be good in Nazjatar and the Eternal palace, which means next tier they will want Eternal palace gear. This gear is like farming nature resist for one raid.
The best gear for pvp and any content outside of eternal palace will come from eternal palace.

Meh how is that for tanking? Tho. You might want more stam in certain situations. Or that might not matter. Anyway You still got to farm 185 mana pearls. Plus more trying to roll for that socket.

Bfa core is basically having so many different ways of getting good gear nothing is really considered the only āend gameā anymore. Which is good, but itās also terribleā¦
I donāt think this direction will be changed any time soon during this expansion.
