Has anyone received a peace of Benthic leg armour that doesn’t have Versatility?..or are the RNG gods messing with me?

Maybe I’m missing something however it is my opinion that Versatility is the “red-headed stepson” of stat, especially for rogues & hunters. Change my mind that it isn’t useless.

Regarding the Benthic gear, it appears to me, that changing specs changes the stats on the gear. I opened 3 belts as shadow and got the same exact one. I switched to disc and got different stats on it.

all slots except azerite armor can roll more than one stat combination or special effect

your spec or role has NO effect on the outcome

for me I only play tank/heals and all the tank specs love versatility so gimme gimme

Ok I’d like to know if anyone else has had the same experience as me. How often would you roll the same exact Benthic piece 2-3 times in a row?

Switch specs and get a different piece

Lol, Surprisingly the Ashzari cloak to see secret items has crit and haste stat.

Thus far every benthic piece I haven’t mailed to an alt has had versatility on it. Good thing Benthic isn’t my grind or I’d be pissed.

First time I took my brewmaster there I kept buying leather boots until I got the crit + vers combination

took me 5-6 tries, did not change spec

blizzard should have added Benthic weapons.

So far in Mech, I’ve gotten one yellow punchcard with Haste as the primary and every single one has been the crappy Versatility primary you get as part of the opening quest.

So I guess I’ll never have to worry about destroying my Haste one.

I feel like vers shouldn’t be possible on dps gear anyhow. If your spec values vers at all it generally means you’re in a bad spot.

This. After switching from Outlaw to Assassination a few weeks back, I’ve gained about 4 Ilvl’s overall from my gear but still sitting on 370 daggers. I have not had luck with boss drops and even yesterday the WQ offered a 370+ but it was for Outlaw(not my loot spec). Imagine my glee when they made the zone’s quest reward a 370!

Good thing blizzard gave you all of these mythic 0 dungeons where you can get 400+ weapons soon with minimal effort

make/join a group and get to it starting july 9th

Nah we still got events that will be updated soon at one point they got a chance to be weapons.

Or maybe they can stop trying to funnel everyone into Mythics and instead give us a PvP vendor with better than crap rewards so we can do what we like for rewards.

The Benthic gear has fixed stats, the WoWHead link shows the possible rolls.

You can try to fish for tertiary stats/sockets though.

Versatility is great IF you have enough to matter. That’s a big if. lol

As for the gear, Benthic armour looks great on my rogue. I really like how they’ve done it.
