Benthic Armor

Why does it look like Kul Tiran dirty laundry rather than Naga armor?

Do Kul Tirans just throw their clothes into the sea near Nazjatar when they outgrow them?

And why would a piece of armor that’s been left to decompose on the bottom of the sea and house marine life be of any use to us?

That’s just gross.

At least wash it before wearing it!

PS: Please don’t call it “Benthicc armor”.

The benthic zone is the ecological region at the lowest level of a body of water such as an ocean, lake, or stream, including the sediment surface and some sub-surface layers

Yup. Hence the question: Why does it look like stuff people who live in the surface wear rather than the stuff people who live in said ecological region wear?

Oh. That’s a neat little reference. Now I have no problem with the seemingly random and weird name!

I guess it’s because it’s from sailors who sunk into the benthic region.

Definitely the opposite of thicc
IMO

Man would’ve been cool to see some plate armors made of like thick shells and what not, leather sets that are segmented carapaces maybe with bits of shipwreck debris on it.

Meh it’s there design. I think they wanted to avoid too much underwater themes? Who knows. I think of that set like seagoers pilfered land things (such as the kelfin) and added stuff from there environment.

Kinda has a Flying Dutchman Crew thing going. I don’t dislike it.

You’ve brought this on yourself. I’m only calling it that. But I’m KT so I’m allowed to, it’s our word.

I’m here trying to imagine how much more skilled a KT Rogue needs to be to stealth.

Not very. Rogues can use optional Shadow Magic to help them hide, as we saw on the Sourfang Cinematic.

And Kul Tiras is basically N’zothland, so I think it’s safe to assume Kul Tirans in general have their shadow magic covered.

What is stealth? Is that the thing where I shoot everyone in the room and it gets quiet afterwards?

Beggars can’t be choosy.

Because they tried sticking with the Naga theme in the upcoming raid…

…and it’s pretty much the ugliest tier of all time for every armor type (except cloth’s mythic variant.)

Yeah that set looks like trash. What I’m wearing looks more Naga themed than pretty much most of the armor in Najatar.

I will most likely transmog out of anyway.

Gonna need a lot of shadow for a Kul Tiran to be stealthed. With objects of that size, it is more of an eclipse.
