Very disappointed that the race option I chose got …skincolor… as their primary customization while the others got a boatload of interesting things to make them unique. Night elves got an amazing amount of wonderful customs, but blood elves got nearly nothing, and nightborne got nothing at all despite having the least amount of customs of any race in the game… Are we getting more or is this really it? Disappointed.

Blood elves got nearly nothing? Are you sure, they had all kinds of new skin colors, eye colors and hair colors plus a lot of jewelry? And nightborne, I guess they figured they couldn’t improve on perfection.

Obviously this isn’t all the customizations we’re getting. They’ve barely even touched the allied races and the pandaren. I think they said this would be an ongoing thing throughout the lifespan of WoW. I can definitely see them adding a little more here and there with each expansion.

Given NB were already a rushed copy-paste of night elves, with broken/poor animations, facial features and virtually no customisation when they were released I think it’s safe to say they’ll be treated as the ‘Arcane Mage’ of races. Maybe they’ll get an update or a unique voiceline in 2028…

Male blood elves don’t get all the jewelry? Oh they get 12 options for facial hair instead. Should have given them the jewelry too. They could have given the females the facial hair option too just to spice things up a bit I guess.

Gender locked jewelry. A few new skin tones to give the diversity that should have always been there and has been now implemented for human skin toned races.
Oh we’re moving to talk about AR’s now? It was the core race customizations Blizzard talked about and yet all core races seem lacking and the AR that parallels Blood Elves now has two visual themes Void and Non Void. But like you said Blood Elves got gender locked jewelry so…
There are two new beards? Three? Trying to spin that as anything amazing is a joke.

We got 3 and they didn’t separate beard and mustache.
We got blue eyes which isn’t a big deal to anyone but helf Stans.
We got three diverse skin tones and matching hair.
2 or 3 hairstyles.
3 facial hair options.
No scars. No runes or ranger tats. No red eyes.

Disappointed we didn’t receive a second visual theme in Felbloods, San’layn or the likes.
No Runic or Farstrider tattoos like our box art, which they seemed to try to do the box art at least for Night Elves.
No scarring like you pointed out for people who would / can use that, and Blood Elves survived the Scourge and rebuilt and reclaimed their land I am sure they have scars.
We can’t even adjust our eyebrows like Night Elves? Yet both Elves got ear sliders so why didn’t they give eyebrow adjustments to both?
Still can’t see why they gender locked the jewelry, Blood Elf customization was lackluster anyways but male Blood Elf customization.

Hey, I had to ethnicityship into Asian for that. Hopefully they split that for Humans and give them to Belves later on.

Well, your Blood Elf is quite alive for red eyes, wouldn’t you say?

It sticks out to me because its what they did for both Night Elves and Blood Elves… yet they declined to let Blood Elves also partake in the eye brow choices they gave Night Elves… because I guess Gender locked jewelry was so above and beyond

You don’t need asian ethnicity on elves for scars. NIGHT ELVES got scars though?
Yeah, but I feel like if they ever added dark ranger, it would most definitely be a Forsaken thing rather than Blood Elf, the racials just fit more.
Umm, my character is clearly human though, and I said that I needed to change ethnicity.
