Belt rune speculation thread

We’ve seen the rogue shuriken toss rune on a belt so let’s speculate which belt runes each class will get.

Warrior:
A deep wounds rune that doesn’t stack with deep wounds talent, allowing deep wounds without needing to spend 6 talents points

Shield slam now dazes the target and has a 100% chance to dispel 2 magic effects

Shield block now also doubles your block value while active

Revenge hits 3 targets in front of you

Critical strikes lower the cooldown of intercept by 1 second each but the stun is reduced to 1 second

Stuff like that

Let’s hear your flawless suggestions

Yes just what we need in classic, already insanely rare weapons that never drop the 20 warriors per raid all will need 2 of.

yeah dude sick idea bro

That wasn’t a suggestion

IMO belt should be 1 singular rune. Dual Spec. and it should be a lengthy quest requiring both PVP and raid.

Yes let’s link dual spec to a rune because that makes sense…

That’s absolutely stupid.

Also requiring pvp and raid ah yes let’s make it so where only a certain portion of the player base can get it. Because why not right?

I’m fine with putting dual spec in the game as long as it requires Exalted with Bloodsail Buccaneers to unlock it.

Warlock: Immolation Aura

While in Metamorphosis, Hellfire because instant cast dealing X fire damage and generating High Threat.

Literally the entire point of dual spec is to swap between raiding and pvp.

prove you do both and it rewards you with a rune. Theres no decay and the raids are insanely easy.

Get good pagle.

Gee I don’t like this content.

GIT GUD.

That’s your argument in a nutshell.

Your argument against it is that players who dont need to dual spec wont be able to get dual spec and instead should be handed a p2w visa card rune for doing nothing.

Great idea bud. You def do play WOTLK LOL

Imagine needing dual spec in Classic. This game is easy AF. I heal BFD in Shadow spec.

Never did I say p2win also why shouldn’t a person be able to have different specs while playing non pvp content or even pvp content?

Gee I normally play healer disc priest but I wanna play Shadow this time.

Gee I normally tank as a Warrior but I wanna dps this time.

Geez you’re seriously dense.

Its not that its “easy” or “hard” … its a QOL thing and something they could put in a rune which doesnt impact player power at all versus another ability / passive that will drastically shift player balance.

Nobody plays shadow

Tank warriors are DPS warriors.

Another failed argument pagle. do better

Not a very creative suggestion but maybe for warlocks a rune that makes rain of fire be like the NPC version of it where you target an area and it does the AoE without having to channel it, though it gives rain of fire a CD for the duration

Immolation aura-transforms hellfire into immolation aura, damage done to the warlock and mobs remains unchanged. (Lets be real, immo aura and hellfire would be busted).

Backlash-30% chance when hit to make your next incinerate, shadow bolt or immolate instant. (Covers numerous bases, gives meta lock a way to actually use these spells when tanking and a solid pvp tool)

Unstable affliction- cause why not, dispel protection and damage for aff locks.

Drain soul- when your drain soul deals damage, your current corruption and curse of agony flare up, dealing X% of their damage. Drain soul also gains the benefit of any talent affecting shadow bolt.(Gives aff locks a damage tool and something to click besides shadow bolt)

Soul flare- removes the soul shard cost from shadowburn, shadowburns damage is now shadowfire. (Gives destro locks a sustainable instant cast filler, also benefits from fire damage boosts.

Hoping we get the Heroic Shot rune that was datamined - Heroic Strike but for your ranged weapon, increased threat + short silence.

Wut?

Fine Tank paladin to ret

Ah you’re one of those people understood.
