Every PUG I’m in positions him differently and swears by that strategy, then wipes. Even guild runs that list themselves with the premades to fill some vacancies.
Case in point: I tanked for a guild that insisted on having the bird in the center with the DPS, and the tanks on opposite sides of the bird. Of course the wrong-color orbs hit me because the tank was on the other side. And after the first egg phase, DPS went out of position and the frontals hit them. IDK, but this positioning seems like it’s setting the group up to fail.
What are your favorite strategies?
My own guild actually tanks Belo’ren around the circumference of the circle and faces him towards the center, tanks side-by-side, while DPS stay on the outside. This still feels off, so I’m looking for suggestions.
