Don’t watch his videos nor Preaches. Only video of Preach I watched was the Ion interview. All of these “big names” that people tout, don’t speak for me. They may can articulate my argument better than me but they don’t speak for me.
I’m a very vocal person. I will comment on things I hate viciously and every blue moon, Blizzard will do something I completely agree with and I post on that too. Unironically, Blizzard does more stupid than good for their “main” systems they introduce.
TLDR: I didn’t watch it, I ain’t watching it, and he doesn’t speak for me with my ongoing hate for Blizzard systems.
To be fair, I think Bellular is one of the bad WoW personalities (in my opinion) due to his habit of making a lot of click bait videos to spam YouTube with rather than try and wrap the news up neatly. He’s a fine guy, but it’s very obvious his channel is based on click bait.
Also my snarky response was more because the OP claimed things weren’t looking good while ignoring that Bellular had made the video I linked.
I like Bellular. I prefer getting my news in text, and I prefer youtubers who do video essays with their opinions rather than round up news.
I’ve been relating to a lot of what he’s been saying about Shadowlands. Particularly class design, that Blizzard didn’t go far enough with class revamp. As someone who’s been largely disappointed with how classes played post Legion, I’m coming into SL without much enthusiasm.
What Bellular did not foresee is that his business success is tied to World of Warcraft success. Without the game that he loves to defame every hour of the day, he wouldn’t be much.
That and then going past his sponsorships in the beginning and whatever Patreon subscribers are getting is annoying. Also, how can you sell pins and art from someone else’s IP? I genuinely want to know.
