In Canada specifically in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec Bell customers lost service for nearly an hour. I myself fell victim to a disconnect death during this May 21st loss of service. Not sure if anyone else has lost there characters to this but it does not feel glorious to die at the hands of Bell. There are several articles out right now on google to cooperate my story. I understand the rules of hardcore just feels like I got shafted… Even as a rogue I can’t vanish DC
revive this man 
Blizzard just needs to bite the bullet and put together an appeal system for stuff like this. The precedent is already set that connectivity issues are not “legitimate” deaths.
If they aren’t going to do that, then just sunset hardcore. For it to genuinely work over a long period of time, there has to be some amount of maintenance and upkeep on their end. We should not only be getting rollbacks when streamers are involved.
Stuff like this is why I quit hardcore to begin with. I never died to a DC, but the looming prospect of something out of my hands killing me always made it feel bad.
Don’t come back. We don’t need apeal core.
