I don’t care if this is posted a lot already. It needs attention! Blizz for the love of Elune, if you’re going to make a rare like this, PLEASE, put an immunity shield around it for at least a minute or two. Selfish people go balls to the walls dps on it before people can get there. I’ve even been in LFG groups, helping to scout; it was spotted on the other side of where I and several others were, only to get there as it died without a tag.

I vote it stays invincible for the entire day, until I personally get off of work, ride home, and get on WoW, fly over to the spawn point.
And then it should be killable.

No troll. I’m not asking for that. I was IN THE ZONE and couldn’t even GET ACROSS IT before it was dead. Hopefully people who do get that item help the community, rather than use it for themselves only like toxic trash like you!

The spawn is on a 3 hours cd.
There is a macro that lets you track it. Use it and then farm it.
I’m not sure if it’s an RP realm thing, but every time I’ve hunted for it, the zone comes together to ping and even after pinging we wait. Horde, too.
I’ve been there sitting on it for at least 20/30 seconds after having flown there. I’ve also pinged it for others and just waited.
However, I think having a delay would be great. The one saving grace is that, hopefully, this will remain in game through the patches and it will be a 0-effort spawn, with chances on a timer. Though I know that’s a half-hearted consolation in the moment.

The raid leader kept telling people to slow down. People don’t listen. And I’ve tried several times over the last 2 days. I’m doing what I can. Way to assume I’m not already trying.

It’s a 5% drop rate, so getting to him is part of the hurdle with this rare. This is why when you get your rep up, you can buy an item that shows him on the map immediately. Usually in the past these rare’s that dropped a mount would be a very low drop chance, around 1%. So, it’s part of it.
I recommend grouping. There’s always a group up when he spawns that cover most spawn points, and that still doesn’t guarantee you’ll get to him. I didn’t a few times in a group, but it increases you’re chances by a lot.
