Beledar's Spawn needs an adjustment

Beledar’s Spawn should be unattackable for a short duration after it spawns, and its health increased (significantly) to give people more time to get to it. For reference, I found Beledar’s Spawn within the first minute of darkness, and the 3 people that were there already had it at approximately 20% health remaining by the time I landed.

If you’re having trouble finding Beledar’s Spawn, this is why; even at current levels of gear, it is getting nuked. If no changes are made, then within the first couple weeks of Season One, it will be impossible for players to claim this rare spawn unless they happen to be extremely close to it when it appears. Frankly, since only 4 players on my shard got the kill, I would say this is already the case.

Additionally, the Hallowfall Arathi renown 23 reward, Beledar’s Attunement, will be made effectively useless before it can even be obtained because Beledar’s Spawn will be dead before others can get to it.

100% agree. Any mount rare going forward needs to follow the same design. They will ALWAYS be heavily farmed and people will ALWAYS be toxic and just zerg it on on spawn. Imagine being the dev that made that cool renown reward that would help you be able to farm for that cool mount and all your time was simply wasted and not appreciated.

Yeah, I was just in a group where he was found instantly, but was dead before I could get to him from the spawn point I was camping. Great waste of 3 hours.

same. even using dragonflight, instantly taking off for the pinged location, spamming whirling surge, surge forward, and using all charges of second wind i couldn’t even get there in time.

Not sure why they don’t use dynamic scaling based on how many players are engaged in the combat.

They do, but if one person pulls it before anyone else tags it, they can knock a massive chunk % wise off it.

they do but the hp doesn’t instantly update. Because of that when the boss health does scale up it’s based on its current hp % so it doesn’t gain enough health fast enough. basically the scaling keeps it at its starting hp for a few seconds then you have 60 people to do 50m damage which takes a matter of seconds currently.

Bele’s rare is just getting grinded down as soon as it spawns and it’s made me not what to help look for it on the account of I might be on the other side of the map when it spawns and I’ll miss getting a tag.

Being in the middle of the map and bee-lining it to the rare, it’s usually at 40% or lower and I barely manage to get a tag.

Things like this that would help more people get what they want would simultaneously lead to people being satisfied and unsubbing.

It’s pretty consistent that they make rare kills a misery, whether it’s Poundfist, Rustfeather, the Fallen Charger, Breezebiter, or Beledar.

I doubt it will change. In their eyes the fact that it basically has a set spawn time that people can count down to is “good enough.”

It is just flat out rediculous that the rare has over 20 spawn points, even with skyriding it is impossible to search them all fast in time to find where it had spawned! People need to stop being selfish and toxic! Be more friendly and ping the map so people can find him!

You could have gotten your renown high enough by now to buy the item that shows exactly on the map where he spawns. No searching required.

OP is right, it needs an immunity spawn-in timer.

Agreed. Despite “people having enough time” to get to renown 25 if they have been playing enough I think in general it should have an immunity shield of 1 minute.

I have the attunement and it works on some toons and not even the toon i bought it on. As for killing it…it is still a race to get there and get a tag as people nuke it like if they kill it faster they will get the mount eyeroll this is the new wow i guess…selfish.

This thread reminds me to be thankful I got the mount on my second kill on this spawn months back.

I don’t think it’s “toxic” or “selfish” to kill the spawn right away. This people are quite literally just playing the game.

Wouldn’t be a bad idea to increase its health though, make it at least a little effort to down it.

Agreed, it’s not. Everyone’s time is valuable, and although waiting for others is considerate, no one is obligated to do so.

The problem lies solely with Blizzard’s implementation of this rare spawn and the lack of safeguards enabling faraway players to reach it in time.

If I’m not at the spawn point I don’t even bother trying to make it there anymore.

I’ll get the mount some other expansion.

If ever

it’s not high on my list of desirable mounts really.

A one minute immunity timer would be great.

The only time Beledar didn’t get nuked was the first couple weeks of the expansion. Now it feels like a single person can almost solo it.
