Beledar's Spawn Needs A Spawn Protection

This rare comes up only once every 3 hours. With most people now having Beledar’s Attunement active on their warband, the rare can be killed in mere seconds after it spawns. This last kill I flew straight there (from the center of the map) and barely got a tag on him at 10% HP. My guildmate was too far and couldn’t make it in time.


There’s two potential solutions here:

  1. Put a 30 second immunity on him that will allow players to not only get there from anywhere in the zone but will also allow them to get credit for the kill.
  2. Make it to where the rare spawns once every 5 minutes. The “event” in which he spawns lasts for 30 minutes. This will give players who are waiting / farming this rare 6 chances per event to get their kill.

Having a 30 second “It is spawning here” timer tends to be the practice they used the most and should probably apply to all long-spawn rares.

People would need to be there before the spawn and not be on steady flight because the more gear people get the faster things explode.

I would work towards getting the item for yourself. If you don’t have.
Could look in group finder to see if there’s any still being done.

Everything needs spawn protection. :frowning:

It’s something they should retroactively approach with all rares in current and legacy content.

Time Rifts in DF desparately need it since if you don’t tag the boss you wasted your time but it’s possible for the boss to be dead before it’s even targettable these days just from AoE spam.
