If they don’t have Decatriarch Wratheye reappearing for the tree at some point, that’s would be a big L on their part, especially Mon-Ark mentioning that “rot also like life trees,” and “Wratheye will want sick tree.” I’m hopeful for what they do for Wratheye when she reappears in the story.

I doubt anything will really happen with Bel’Ameth since Darnassus is still fully accessible and will remain the capital of the night elves in-game.
I’ll give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt here and just assume that since Bel’Ameth, and Gilneas for that matter, are just coming after a major conflict, that they both need time to rebuild. I’d expect auctionhouses and other such amenities around the time of the next major conflict which will likely be in few months.

Maybe there will be another time jump between end of DF and start of the WS Saga. In that time they rebuild both these locations properly.
I don’t think so… from some of the things we’ve seen Khadgar saying, as well as a report that “Anduin has been seen in Kalimdor”, I think the implication is that we’re leading straight into it.

In the epilogue quests,
Tyrande literally tells Shandris that she’s waiting for Teldrassil to bloom again in the future and she will return with the Night Elves.
Amirdrassil is staying put on the dragon isles and the remaining Night Elves will be free to live in any of the “night elf” zones on Azeroth.
Oh, I know. I was joking, since we were comparing the NE souls growing Amirdrassil to the old WC3 wisps turning into Ancients that walked around lol

I think it was their plan. But what i hope is that they took notice of all the people who were voicing their disappointment about it being in the dragon isles instead of kalimdor. After all, they have made a lot of noise lately about listening to the players more.
By the time the players knew where the tree was going it was obviously too late to change the plan. But maybe they made some little additions. The extensive portal network around kalimdor. Tyrande’s speech. Was that all originally planned as well? Maybe. But we’ll probably never know.

I think the new paradigm is to open places like Bel’Ameth and Gilneas using all the old assets, sprinkle in the tiniest bit of content, then blast the airwaves with how awesome the new patch is. Next patch they’ll probably add a couple quests to Bel’Ameth and maybe a flight point into Gilneas and blast the airwaves with how awesome THAT new patch is.
They’re spoon feeding content with the least amount of effort just so they have something to announce every so often between now and the end of the year when the next xpac arrives.
