What’s Blizzard’s marketing section doing. If they slow it down and hold back longer than they can keep their market longer.
There is no hard data, so going on anecdotal evidence here. I play AH a fair bit and watch mats closely. You can kind of follow the general leveling curve by the amount of cloth and skins available. On my server it shifted slowly from wool/silk and medium leather to mageweave and heavy/thick leather now. Runecloth is becoming more available, too, so… I guess the bulk of the population are “noobs” running around in late 40s to early 50s.

I mean I thought phase 2 was commin out in like a few weeks to a month anyway. DM is just going to give people something to do between raids. Blizzard is going to release content to keep subs…

They said “later this year” for phase 2. How in the F does that equate to later this month ?

He’s right though. WoW’s population kept increasing until mid-WOTLK while Classic is already having major population decline according to Blizzard themselves.
Yeah you are to slow. why should others be punished for the people that can’t keep up?

The thing about people that get bored easily… it’s nobody’s fault but their own. It’s the same thing that happens with people that go on vacation. They go to the Bahamas or Hawaii and then they come back saying it sucked. It only sucked because they didn’t know how to go out and find fun. The person themselves were no fun to begin with, they’re the kind of people that need someone to bring fun to them.

dm is for level 45-50… it’s not a bad implementation.
It took Month to level in Vanilla, all these tryhards leveling to 60 some abusing the raid and dungeon xp bug, while the rest of us enjoy the game!

This game is not 15 years old. It’s only 2 and a half months old. Unless you’re talking about retail, retail’s been out for at least that long. The game was live 15 years ago, but the game’s life is only been 2 months. People have only been playing this game for maybe 2 months unless you want to count the time people played it in 2004.

I think a lot of people are missing something very important about DM… While yes it has really good gear in it, not quite raid quality, but a little bit better then scholo, strath and brd. It will give people a better chance when phase 2 drops and world pvp happens to not immediately get destroyed.
As it stands now, the people and guilds that are running MC and ONY are going to roflstomp people into the ground that dont have gear. The casuals that aren’t 60 or that dont/cant raid are going to be at a huge, major disadvantage against people that raid. DM is actually helping to mitigate that, it gives people an option to get some gear who don’t have time to raid or cant commit.
Me and my guild have been talking about phase 2 for a while, and we all know its going to be a gong show for wpvp, this at least helps offset the balance. We are raiding, we’ve killed ony and got rag to 25%, I’m at 4 peices of lawbringer and im a holy pally, raid buffed i sit at 6k mana, 4.5k hp and 56%DR from armor. Just imagine trying to fight that in phase 2, and thats not even all the gear from MC, i would easily have 5k hp, 7k mana and 65%DR when i get all the gear i want.
Just look at DM as a early little blessing in disguise for phase 2

If that’s the case then you might as well quit now because people are already doing UBRS, MC, Ony and other level 60 content.

If this was even close to true… people would still be running DM in BFA…
You’re not being rushed because one dungeon is released. If they release phase 2 before the end of the year you’re toast though good luck to anyone not 60 trying to level.
