Being rejected on every group just because you are from Azralon is such a bad feeling

It just feels so sadge. Thats all i wanted to say, its been quite a while since this game its been out and every time, season, expansion we have to go through the same stuff. It’s just sad.

I mean, that sux and all. But to be fair, your server has a seriously bad reputation. I’ve even encountered my fair share of them myself.

I know why Moonguard has a bad reputation but why does Azralon have a bad reputation?

That’s funny because i play on Az, with many players, and i have the same experience with every single realm, people are bad across all realms, but i can share my experience pool so we can compare if you want.

Az (and most LATAM servers) are ‘known’ to the community for hosting players that are just terrible. Refusing to chat in english, burning keys, you could probably find a million horror stories spawned from players from that server region.

Which is a shame for the players like OP and those who are good, who have to deal with the stigma of being from a LATAM server.

Many people seem to have reached a consensus that Azralon and other comparable realms usually located in Latin America (aka Ragnaros/Quelthalas) are easily the game’s worst players mechanically/in many other ways. Don’t shoot the messenger, just bringing you up to speed.

It is discrimination and it is bad and wrong. I don’t care how people try to justify it. I think it’s shameful and disgusting.

Oh, I see. I play on MG occasionally so I know the feeling. I can certainly empathize.

How does MG have a “bad rep?” MG Goldshire has a rep for mature RP, but since when did all of MG get a “bad rep?”

People assume if you’re from MG you’re not a good player.

Then again, I’ve seldom gotten grief from being a MGer compared to the vitriol I’ve seen towards LATAM players.
(Though that one hunter who went off on me in legion and called me the f slur numerous times was uh…that was something.)

Agree 100% with this, but the worst part is how much support this behavior seemingly gets here on the forums. Even in this thread, you’re the only person who said this while everyone else is essentially giving reasons why it’s ok to blanket hate entire servers.

When did this happen? MG has progression guilds and always has. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Most people don’t look too deeply into MG’s raiding scene.

They just assume us a dirty realm because of all the off-server tourists in Goldshire.

I mean, it is what it is, i don’t think this is gonna change, i might just change servers, but here is the bad stuff, i cant progress with my guild cause ill be stuck having to be from the same server/guild to race mythic. The whole server thing wouldnt be a problem if i could just play in another server. But yeah i might just do that, sadly.

A sad fact of the world is that many people will loathe something without ever laying eyes on it just because someone else said they should. The idea that Moon Guard doesn’t know how to play came from a strawman stuffed by many a youtube grifter and people who have been exiled from communities there spewing false justifications. I’d wager the attitude behind Azralon is much the same, although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a handful of personal experiences.

its less blind hate of the whole server and more that everyone has experienced alot of bad from said servers. i havent experienced bad from azralon since i hardly see em pop up but have had so many bad players from ragnaros and now i dont invite them unless im desperate and no one else is applying. there has been the few exceptions that ive found while desperate tho but its more bad than good

Can confirm, when I see a player from Moonguard I assume they’re going to be roleplaying throughout my key. I’m always disappointed when they pull their weight instead of providing me with a narrative experience.

I play with y’all all the time, though I never host the key myself. It’s even kind of annoying knowing I got invited to an LA group instantaneously because I was the only option. Especially when we clear better than any group I’ve been in for the week.

Though to be fair, you definitely do have some rotten as heck players. The language barrier doesn’t help either. “Go go go” or “pull tank” gets old real fast, or not being able to explain things.

Well… except to be even fairer, even the NA servers are full of royal pricks. Arguably the fastest leavers around. We try to pretend like anyone non-NA is the worst around when in reality we’re just as bad.

MG doesn’t really have a bad rep. It only has a rep as the ERP server. I’ve never seen any discrimination based on being from MG, and I could probably count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen anyone actually even comment on it. If anything, it is known that MG actually has good players on it, for PVP anyway. There’s plenty of people who do not RP at all and just focus on game content.

I’ve had enough bad experience with Azralon and Ragnaros that I am wary and I get the iconic pit in my stomach when I see either of those server names, but I still invite them anyway if they meet my ilvl/rating requirements. I’ve probably had just as many neutral interactions as bad.

Hilarious that this is the cardinal sin for most people.
You know what’s worse than not being able to communicate with others in the group about mechanics and strat?
Experiencing the same terrible gameplay from players who 100% understand your language and still refuse to listen.
