Behaviour warning for boosts

Only advertising in trade, heavy emphasis on GOLD ONLY as this will never be an RMT service from me.
Did i miss the part where this is against ToS ? If so i’ll stop immediately
Are people reporting me because they are bored? i don’t get it.
Thanks in advance.

you’re still gonna get reported as wording is up to you so take that chance if you want. gold is easy to come by

So as far as i can tell it’s not against ToS, and even tho i’m clearly stating “Gold only” people can report me for no reason at all and i risk getting autobanned because there’s no support anymore?

The “old school” people are reporting it non stop. I was previously in a guild where they would find 1 and 15 ppl would report it because they were salty. They cant get over the fact that times have changed.

That’s exactly what it feels like.
How is this behaviour allowed and blizzard does nothing to combat frivolous reports…

talking in third person is weird

Could be an add-on doing it. Depending on how often you advertise.

advertised twice got the warning, stopped. Came back 3hrs later and within 5mins of advertising twice again received another warning.

sounds automated to me.

Bad Boy: Spam blocker and reporter might be doing it. Check out the add-on and see if you might be triggering it.

Will do, thanks.

Thought any type of advertising for boosts is reportable and bannable

Or you can actually just play the game the way it was meant to be played, especially in classic. Its much more fun that way too

I’m not sure where I saw it but I think advertising for boosts is reportable now.

Trade channel isnt for boosting

And for boosting in general, or your character name, you should just be permanently banned.

Edit: Actually nevermind that, you deserve SOD. I hope you dont get banned and play Aggrends “Seasons” forever.

Not sure about the TOS, but maybe people just don’t like boosters. Read the room.

Trading a service for gold, where else would it go :man_facepalming:

Probably just butt hurt people that didn’t do incursions on day one reporting you OP

Probably because wow lets us police the servers, and no one likes boosts but the buyer and seller, most of the time an rmt event.

Into a custom trade service channel according to TOS, Einstein.

Obviously Blizzard should completely ban boosting.

for what reason

Also depends on where you’re advertising. If it’s in LFG or /shout in a major city, there are a fair number of people who may find that objectionable. I’m not sure how you advertised, so I can’t say, but if I’m in Org and I have someone advertise something like “hey opening lockboxes with the same message in /1, /2, /6, and /shout to “cover all their bases,” that’s irritating.

I don’t report them for that, but for something like boosting, I can imagine some would.

Again, I don’t wish to see you banned or think boosters are game-breaking scum, just there may be something in the “how” that could help you here. Blizzard doesn’t have a lot of GMs that will show up to help, so you getting these kinda warnings would seem to be a mark of quantity rather than quality of reports.

Maully is, per usual, on the money: Read the room.
