Frost Mage, BM hunter, Fury Warrior, Frost DK, Bear Druid are all easy peasy
Destro lock is 3 buttons
Demon Hunter. She’ll be able to roll her forehead across the keyboard with her eyes closed and be successful.
Try a demonology or destruction warlock. There’s little to no button bloat, great movement options and great survivability. You can summon demon armies or wreak destruction, or both.
Fury warrior is also a great one. Gain rage, rampage, profit. Real easy and fun to play,
i never trust these. demon hunter was supposed to be 3 buttons if i listened to ppl but it ended up being at least 6
Unga bunga to the max
That was my starting class. Divorce her!
Seriously though, i do like Moritz’s suggestion of warlock. Maybe she can try out each spec for a bit, but i personally like demo the most cuz of all the evil lil critters.
Hey now, i dps once in a while.
Though i heal like 95% of the time
back in the day healer could spam flash heal and get away with that.
Now healers have million buttons and also constant stress of spike and aoe damage while also having to move nonstop
Also Druid, it’s the swiss army knife of classes.
Frost Mage is probably the easiest and most beginner friendly spec to play. Ice Lance go brrrr.
Resto Druid or Holy Priest if she wants to heal, Bear if she wants to tank, BM hunter, Demon Hunter or Fury Warrior if she wants to DPS.
Other than a Hunter, I’d say Warrior, Shaman, and probably Demon Hunter are pretty easy and straightforward.
Guardian Druid is pretty easy.
Im a guy but i joined the game because my ex boyfriend asked me to.
I was a priest healer…
play a fire mage.
My gf liked ret paladin because it was melee so she didn’t have to worry about kiting or keeping range, had heals to keep herself from dying all the time, and of course bubble.
I love how everyone tries to get their significant other to be their healbot haha
He also told me that jewlecrafting was a great profession and i really should take it.
Turns out he wanted the panther mounts.
For beginners, warlocks or beast mastery hunters are usually great picks for dps. For dipping her toes into healing, I recommend holy priest. As for tanking, prot warrior.
OK so this might be a bit longer of a suggestion than you’re asking for, but…
Make a Frost DK
Now take mostly passive talents, the goal here is to minimize the buttons you have to press.
For Frost DK, for example, you can function just fine for most content with Obliterate, using your Rime procs, frost strike when your close to RP cap, and Remorseless Winter on CD. Macro your cooldowns to Remorseless Winter, and pop Deathstrike somewhere for when you need health. You now have a high health dps that practically plays itself with about 5 buttons to push.
Now map everything to your Mouse Wheel.
Up - Frost strike
Down - Obliterate
Right - Rime Proc
Left - Deathstrike
Push In - Winter
And that’s your very usable skill floor Frost DK.
Each day for a week drip feed in a new active ability, as you progress to an Obliterate build. Day 1 - Drop death and Decay so your Obliterates cleave, Day 2 - When you have them set up for Cleaves, drop Chill Streak, Day 3 - When you have them grouped up, go ahead and drop your Dragon and use Pillar for your little dragon, etc etc…
And in 2 weeks you (should) have a pretty neat very simple to play character with truly amazing cleave for World content.
