I know you say that likes its a joke but its not just me. There is a reason china already demanded this change they love the p2w design. The Asian markets have fully embraced this idea. To me it is silly that people perceive the same game differently to the point of “i will take my ball and go home” when they are not forced to buy anything and in fact offered a way to play for free and validation that there time is in fact worth something (free game time). Free to play pay to win is the future of gaming for a reason it lets the older more busy generation pay for the game and lets the younger non working players farm the content. The redistribution of resources not only makes use of in game items more efficiently IE someone buying a epic a guild would have just DEd but now that player is in gear where he can do in game content with the players who had way more time to play. More loots more players free for those who choose to sell whats not to like?

I mean that is where the money is tbh. Why do you think an app on a phone can bring in more money than wow subs? Because The micro transaction system works. If we want a new truly great MMO the money to back such a game would have to be free to play pay to win/ micro transaction model. I actually think the p2w system is better for game design has its actually able to produce the money needed to back good games in today’s world.

Breaking out the subs and charging less for Classic is a sure way to get Classic treated like a red headed stepchild.
I doubt this will happen they do need to make money and the idea to tie them together was actually brilliant and in a way supports the use of tokens even more. You can already farm retail to play classic for free. This also increases the odds any given player of one will try the other doing that would certainly not be good for their numbers in any way. If we want successful games we should also want blizzard to have success they are tied together. Also tangent but is it weird to anyone else that the Chinese back pay2win and NA doesn’t as much when it’s pretty much the most capitalist thing ever.
People are here to play a game, not some elaborate “big bank takes lil bank” scenarios

I don’t know what that is but I like all the games a currently play just looking to help improve them with my feedback. Maybe if you just gave it a shot you would realize whatever fear you have of the P2W system is overblown. Can you please explain to me why you think it would be a bad thing for players to be able to play for free? Why you think it would be bad to let people use tokens to better distribute in game loots where it’s more efficient? Even if you take no part in selling or buying the net result is more players in bette gear for you to play with?
It doesn’t result in more players, this is literally all fabrication

That can be true in some cases yes. However in this case it’s not even being bought from blizzard it’s from other players. You don’t get any less loot you were not going to get the loot the guy bought with gold from someone else’s raid it would have got disenchanted? You still get to use all the same stuff and you have the option of buying more to “catch up” if you want. You don’t get any less just other people paying get more?

Lol at people thinking gold sellers are going out of business due to tokens. Gold sellers will always be cheaper than the rate you’d get gold for from a token.

Scenario A epic staff drops for guild no tokens they disenchant it it’s wasted the casual who needs it can’t play enough to game he has kids and a life etc. The guy who is retired with no job has tons of gold to use on nothing.
Scenario B the guy with too much gold gets a free sub. The guild gets gold to put back into the economy and make use of their drop. The casual player gets the gear without needing to invest all the time. You who didn’t part in any of this get a player with a new epic piece of loot to play with and it costs you nothing. Even if it makes prices change you can farm for items at the new price. I seriously don’t understand.
