Tokens have already come to classic, you can essentially trade retail tokens for classic gold. It’s just not automated.

How does it create gold…?
The biggest asset an mmo could offer me is the ability to practice setting goals, putting in work and accomplishing it.
When the token came to retail it destroyed that aspect because it was no longer necessary to put in work as I could buy anything I wanted from gearing to mythic level raiding. Goals were no longer necessary because work was no longer required.
Put the token in classic and it will devalue everything in the game to an even larger degree. It would remove the reason to even play and yes the reason to pay a subscription.

If they add tokens, then need to remove all consumeable use from raids and bgs, otherwise it becomes pay 2 win.
