Current raid gear is garbage. People using trinkets from AEP (double on use). Trending to get most of my gear from crafting and m+. I think only azerite gear is ok but only from the final two bosses.
You are right that gold is not created from nothing like a few people think. However when the token trends downward in what gold value it will give to the person that sells it, blizzard will make up the difference from what the posting value was. However that is a minuscule amount of gold being generated that then gets countered by good items being deleted through accident or other ways.
