Been Waiting A Long Time For This

Is there any way to know when you have the 30 stacks of Necrotic Plague ? I think I waited to long, cause I just died.

Using the stock UI is rough when the action is happening, and needing to check your debuff.

I’d grab a copy of Weakauras, and take a visit to Wago.io where there’s some very suitable trakers which can be placed in suitable locations.

Pretty much anything you want can be achieved with weak auras. They are such a staple for me I kind of just assume they are for every one else too and forget that some people don’t.

Thanks for the info, but I don’t know that site, I’ve only used Curse/ Twitch now, would they have what I need ?

Any addon system would have the WeakAuras addon, but you still need to install the appropriate aura. (Weakauras are special scripts that run within the WA addon; it’s programs within programs.)

You’d go to someplace like wago.io and search for a WA script that does what you need and install it into the WeakAura addon.

However, I just finished poking around and wago doesn’t seem to have auras for really old content. They call Legion “legacy”. You may have to look farther afield.

AH OK then, thanks anyway, don’t really need the mounts anyway.

You really don’t need a weakaura or any other addon for this to be possible for you. Your debuffs are listed in the top right corner w/ the stock blizz UI and will display stacks and remaining time clearly. Just glance over! If you somehow can’t even manage a glance then you could use bigwigs or dbm (either works) which will fire off a large and loud raid warning on the application of the debuff. Bigwigs/dbm both come preloaded with the timers and warnings from old expacs so its as simple as downloading one of those boss mods, which are extremely useful and something you should be familiar with regardless

This achievement isn’t about a debuff on the player. It’s a debuff that bounces to the closest target when it is dispelled or the target is killed. The trouble is tracking the stacks in the giant crowd of adds that it is moving between.

I’ve done it a number of times, for myself or for friends that needed it, and I just tabbed through the adds and looked at their debuffs. There’s only one stacking debuff on them, so when it hits 30 you’re ready to move on.

Ah okay, my mistake. Thanks for informing me!
