Been Thinking of Playing Shadow Again

As much as I have loved, and enjoyed Hunter, I just find myself conflicted with what else I want to play, the one class that always piqued my interest was priest, but primarily shadow priest because I suck at healing, as well as tanking, and I’ve always been good at being a DPS type, And in all Honesty, I love the concept and the idea of shadow priest, It’s always just sparked my interest, and I’ve been wanting to give it a go, to any shadow priests out there, what are your thoughts?, I’m curious, the very idea, as well as the gameplay intrigues me

Honestly I’ve played this game since classic and never fully committed to a class/spec as a main since I would get bored so easily. Shadow priest has been the most fun jibe had in a while. Really great mixture of spreadable DoTs with single target damage. Our main downfall is we have no reliable burst damage with poor mobility. Our damage is very much a ramp-up phenomenon, so short lived adds will not be great for you on the damage charts. Other than that though, insanity is a very exciting resource to maintain and try to optimize. Join the void, we have cookies :3

Thank you so much for that reply Eredis!, it actually gave me a great idea of what i should do, and i honestly think i should give shadow priest a try, because as i’ve said i love the idea of it, the look of it, the concept of it, and plus, the power of the void, is what really sold it for me, I really appreciate it! Thanks so much :smile:

Shadow and demo lock are by far the most fun ranged dps specs to play right now in my opinion

If you have never played Shadow previously, you’ll likely enjoy it a ton.

Just don’t look up what the spec used to be like in Legion or prior.
