Trying to queue for LFR on a week where the raid isn’t awakened feels bad man. 7 hours total in queue with the longest being 3 hours at once.
2/2 tanks for 30 minutes and no healers.
5/5 healers 18/18 dps and 1/2 tanks for a solid hour.
2/2 tanks and 5/5 healers and 9/18 dps for about 2 minutes until one of the tanks dropped, then back to 18/18 dps immediately.
Im not suggesting a fix, just complaining. It’s like enough people clearly want to run LFR but never at the same time or in the right combination of roles for LFR to actually launch.
The sad part is I can and have tanked non-awakened heroic bosses as an Evoker, so LFR would be a joke if we could just get one to launch.

it’s fiiiiine, everything is fiiiiine. This late into the expansion i can see why you would be having trouble getting into LFR at like 6 am ISH EST

It’d be cool if the queue could prompt all the potential spec swaps to get the run going.
“You’ve been waiting for a tank for 10 minutes, would you like to change your role selection?”
At least for LFR where you really don’t need anything but your tank weapons to get through it.

The sad part is you are trying to get into Que for LFR that’s not awakened.
No one is doing it because it’s old content.

I’ve been in lfr raids where everyone bailed and the few waiting kept waiting. There is a toy called something like Ocean that is a big ball that you can fish on, it lasts an hour. That was our timer, we knew that an hour had passed when it was time to put up a new ocean toy.
I think that when you get the message that you’ve been moved to the front is not truthful.
Would’ve been faster just to list a normal “Yolo!” group.

Try a follower dungeon. You can get into those pretty quickly.
And you will never get kicked.
LFR should just become story mode where you can queue solo.

I’ll play the game how I want and you can also play however you want. It’s super neat we can both do what we want and it doesn’t affect the other 
But if no one is doing that content, expect the long wait times.
Hosting a normal is probably your best shot. Only non awakened raid where a lfr might form os Fyrakk for all the plate wearers still hoping for the Lego before the expansion

That’s fine. I didn’t say you couldn’t.
My point was that if you choose to do content that’s obsolete and no one is doing then don’t get mad when no one is doing it.
Well, the short-term fix to this will be coming next week, when all raids will be awakened.
The long term fix is to re-purpose LFR into a single player experience.
Holy moly that is just not worth it. Respect your time. 
It’s super annoying as you don’t actually need a full 25 man raid for LFR.
More so, they have the technology for followers so why don’t they use that to fill in the gaps if queues take over 30 minutes? It’s just LFR.
