Been a long time since i raided, how does it work for other than LFR for MoP Remix?

So queing up for LFR in MoP Remix is no problem as it just lets you que up and puts you in a group. How does it work for Normal and Heroic and Mythic? How do you get into those kinds of Raids?

Also does the amount of Bronze go up with the type of raid you do? It seems wierd to get 1250 ea. from scenarios and heroic scenarios and Dungeons and Heroic Dungeons and then get 500 ea. for LFR raids. I understand this is intended because they are spammable and reset daily but does the bronze drop in Normal/Heroic/Mythic get any better? Does the loot get better? Do i NEED to spend the Bronze to upgrade my gear to do higher than LFR? What are the ideal power levels to do each?

Is there a source for any and/or all of the things i have asked here that i can just get my answers? Youtube doesn’t seem to answer all these questions and i’m having a hard time finding the answers to all these specific questions i have before i bother putting in the time to do anything.

All the raids can be done prior to max level on normal

Gear ilvl increases based in lvl up to 346 at max through normal raid

The raids drop blue items that have some additional stats compared to green but you dan get blues in heroics

You shouldnt use bronze to upgrade gear until max lvl as higher ilvl will just stop and upgraded gear is only to do higher content (heroic and mythic raid). I believe heroic/mythic do drop more bronze but leveling another character is an ez way to get a ton of bronze cause of the max lvl quests that give a total of 40k per char.

If you get someone that is stacked in your raid (500ilvl) they will one shot everything and you do nothing.

How do you actually get into the Normal raids though instead of LFR that is easily que’d for?

Yea, i have a lvl 70 and have been doing the easy and fast stuff for more Bronze, got my 2nd alt going and a 3rd built but have to get it in the game. Figured on alts i would just spam dungeons/scenarios and raids to level them up and use the first one to finish any achieves i want to get done over time. I’m really mostly interested in the mounts and have all the cheap ones, working on the 18.7k bronze and up now so speed for bronze is my focus. I haven’t upgraded any of my gear past 346 as the cost is laughable to be honest i was horrified when i saw it was like 9k for the first upgrade i looked at and said OH HELL NO.

You get into normal and heroic raids by opening the group finder and going to premade groups/raids and searching there, it will be hard to get in as you didnt upgrade gear but there are some groups that dont mind carrying you so try to get into those.

Upgrading gear makes the game way more fun (remix) you go from being insta killed and doing no dps to a god that can solo raids, you dont need to max out your gear but 3 or 4 levels will make you very strong and have way more fun doing content. You make bronze slowly when your low gear level, by the time your max gear level you can easily make 100-200k bronze PER DAY. Assuming you have the time. Everything just goes that much faster. So even a few upgrade levels will earn you bronze faster.

You just open group finder and the last option on the left lets you search by raid/difficulty

I think bronze is buffed on heroic raids to make the grind not comolete aida.

My last char i had 70k bronze at 70 form the 40k turn in + lvl bronze.

The 2nd char lvled much faster then the first to

The group finder like you’re looking for a world raid boss. Countless groups for every one of the raids in remix, lots of fast groups led by powerful folk helping others get their normal raids out of the way for necklace. Only raid you might get hung up is Throne of Thunder as the eyeball boss is a jerk and Animus is… a nightmare unless done right. I was lucky on the lock i ran through to have a godly Blood DK tank that destroyed those guys for us and soloed Thunder King because rest of group thought the insta kill lightning was a soak and I got leap of faithed into it despite being the only person besides that tank to get out of it ^^; Siege of Orgrimmar goes by quick despite having what 12 bosses making it the longest raid from Mists era. If you want to do Heroic…same way but they demand a certain Item level for that and especially for Mythic Org

Well, when it comes to your ilevel, you’re gonna have to do each raid on normal to get your necklace. That will be a huge drag on your ilevel until you knock that out.

Edit: Btw, it’s really fun to stuff all those leach, speed and armor legendary gems into your alts’ jewelry.

Running around one-shotting every thing and not losing health is hilarious.

While leveling, just go to the entrance of a raid you want to do, then search in the premade group finder for the raid in question. Then apply. Honestly, you get groups super easily and blitz through them. And you get more bonus exp from normal than lfr.

You should still do the lfr ones each day as well though for the extra rewards.

Thank you for the information, i appreciate it.

Thank you again, i appreciate you pointing it out. Haven’t raided since vanilla so yea, i am a bit out of touch with the raiding scene.

The leech stuff is really great, i noticed that leveling. Makes it so nice and easy to recover when you get hit. Thanks for the information.

This is how i have primarily been doing it but was thinking about getting one toon higher ilvl and doing the higher raids to see how the bronze bump is and see if it’s worth it.

Thanks folks for all the replies and help, i greatly appreciate it. Good luck in Remix to everyone.

That may be wild with a blood DK as…you’d never die at that point. Lot of gems to farm but my lock has like three of each already so… doesn’t take forever

LFR drops 500 per wing.

Normal drops 500 per boss, 750 for end bosses / the latter third of ToT and SOO.

Heroic drops 750 per boss, 1250 for latter third.

Heroic ToT also has an extra boss, and he animus and lei shen also drop 2500 instead of 1250 for some reason.
