Has seriously no one been able to get further information about this mount?

Nope. It was advertised for 8.2 and datamining shows a whole project designed for it. But if it is in game no one’s found how to start it yet and Blizz hasn’t mentioned anything either way.

So basically we don’t know. :thinking:

The rumor is we’re supposed to be looking for a bee keeper NPC. And you need to have bumbles.

Maybe once we unlock flying it’ll be more obvious in how to start the quest?

The second part (flying) of the Kua’fon quests triggers after one gets pathfinder part 2. It would be fair to make the assumption that the Bee Mount questline would trigger in much the same way.

it might not become available until S3, that’s when some people should start getting flying as well.

Blizzard wanted it to be a alliance exclusive but Horde would of complained to much if it was. They are working out a way to make it available for both factions now.

It was removed after they saw how many people wanted it. They’re waiting for people to forget that it was supposed to be in this patch before they add it to the cash shop.

It’s probably timegated with Season 3. They want people to be able to fly with their hard-earned bee afterall!

They are making a beetle mount for Horde and will release the new bee mount for alliance at same time

Horde already greatly won on the mounts this expansion. They don’t need a bee. That should be alliance only.

If my zandalari-exalted night elf druid can’t get dinosaur forms, horde shouldn’t get the bee.

Nope. At Blizzcon when they revealed flying in 8.2 the bee was front and center there. Clearly showcased for this patch. The datamining just reinforces it.

Much like Zandalari and Kul’Tirans, it is likely just going to take another year. It’s not like these things were announced before the expansion even came out or anything.
