Bee mount?

So patch 8.2 is knocking at our door, and I don’t hear any buzz about it’s source yet. Didn’t blizzard say the bee mount was coming in 8.2? I heard there was some kind of reputation or questline involving bees on 8.2 datamined stuff, but the actual mount isn’t on the mount jornal. Did I miss something?

That said, I would also like to know more about our bee overlords.

Honeystly I hope the mount won’t bee gated behind some super low RNG thing, cuz that would sting.

I wonder if this mount will be Alliance only after all of Blizzard’s promises with the Horse fiascos.

Hopefully not… but if so, oh well I have alliance alts. :stuck_out_tongue:

I doubt it, I’d be surprised if they even knew the Alliance was still around.

From what I remember, Ion alluded to the idea that the bee mount would come out when flying could finally bee unlocked, but nothing was set in stone.

That makes me think that it should be available in 8.2 when flying can be unlocked, but nothing is for sure of course.

The speculation I have heard is that the process for getting it will be similar to the Winterspring mount with raising it, but I dont think anyone knows for sure yet.

I think Horde will get their own mount to raise (also heard rumors of that). Not sure if they will be a mount that can be used on both factions (hoping not personally).

Horde already have Kua’fon, and will get the Child of Torcali too on 8.2.

I don’t know about the Child of Torcali yet, but for Kua’fon, only horde can raise it (via daily quests), but the mount itself can also be used by alliance characters. I hope that’s the case for the bee mount too (raised by alliance, but usable by both).

What is child of torcali? What is the alliance version of child if kuafon is paired with the bee mount?

It’s a green direhorn.

Good question. Alliance should definitely get more interesting and unique mounts. The bee will be a good start.

prob when we get, they’ll have changed it to a horse with a yellow and black saddle.
