When it comes to the thin jellies which give 20 rep verses the Royal jelly which gives 160 rep, I noticed that you can trade 8 thin jellies for 1 Royal jelly from the Hivemaster qm…is there a benefit to trade them in for Royal jelly? I mean you get the same amount of rep whether you are using 8 thin jellies or 1 Royal jelly or am I missing something…?
Time is the only advantage. You have to turn in the jellies one at a time to the bee.

Ok I see thanks, I just thought there was something special about trading them in but I couldn’t see it lol
There are some vendor items that require royal jelly specifically as currency, but mostly its just a difference in whether or not you’d rather carry around a jar of quarters instead of pennies.

Mainly to sell the larger ones on the AH, which people might find more convenient when buying.
What I did, especially before I had the revered rep for getting the goggles, was just herb and mine. While herbing and mining, I’d also see the jelly nodes. Then I’d sell the products from herbing and mining on the AH, to then buy more jellys (starting with the largest ones.) I got the bee mount much faster.
I had no idea you could buy the jellies or that they weren’t bop
Buying them was a huge help since the server I did it on was super packed while I was doing it. Not sure what the market is like now though.
There were constantly people finishing their quest and giving away what they had left also.
