I distinctly remember when alliance mains complained that we didn’t get any mount quest type things on alliance, while horde got 2 of them. I remember the horde response was “the horde is waiting for you”. Now alliance only has one, but it’s exclusive. Until the alliance also has 2, i don’t see any point in the horde complaining about it being faction locked.

So, you want to let the opinions of a few people speak for everyone that mains Horde characters. Do you want me to take the words of a few Alliance mains to be the gospel for the whole Alliance? People kill me, thinking I should have to along with someone because some rando of the same faction was a butthole.

I’m not saying anyone speaks for anyone. I’m saying that, in this case, I’m fine with a mount being faction exclusive, at least until both factions have an equal number of mount obtaining opportunities.
That is the problem, it is not equal. The Alliance has access to the two Horde mounts that are similar to the Bee.

It’s 100% ok, there was soooo much alliance griping on the forums that Bliz had really no choice but to shamelessly pander to them. If this works, then great.
Only if they make and level a horde character. Horde have 2 mount quests without doing anything extra. Now, halfway through the expac, alliance has 1. I don’t have any problem with it being faction locked for now.

Yeah, people are saying let them do the same for the Bee mount. There are a lot of players that have both factions. Horde players are not saying let them have access to the quest chain. They are saying let them use the mount on all their characters.

And that’s fine, just as soon as alliance get the same amount of quest mounts, meaning one more at the moment.
The Alliance got the bee pet quest chain instead of the mount quest chain. The pet is usable on both factions and the mount is usable on both faction. That is how they tried to make this equal. One drop quest for each faction, if you want the pet you have to make an Alliance character. If you want the mount you have make a Horde character.
Blizzard gave equal quest, the unfairness is that only the Alliance has a mount quest where the reward is not usable on both sides.

You’re right, they should give the alliance another mount quest and the horde a pet quest.
I would go for that seeing I have not bothered to the two Horde mount quest but I have done the Alliance pet quest.
Really, you don’t? You don’t see the inherent problem in Alliance being able to use 2 Horde quest mounts, while Horde can’t use the 1 Alliance quest mount?
The rest of your post sounds spiteful, so maybe that’s why.

I’d be fine with the Alliance keeping their bee mount if it meant that Blizz could get the rights to bring the Horde Motorcycle back into the game as a vendor mount.

Like i said, if alliance get another mount quest, I’d see the problem. But seeing as things aren’t equal, and wouldn’t be even if the bee was useable by horde as well, i don’t have a problem with it.
We got like 5+ different colored pterrordax mounts plus kua’fon to match your horses. You even get to use our grindy quest mount as alliance. None of the dinosaurs’ models are unique to horde just a few of the colors, mists of pandaria was full of other direhorn mounts. If the bee was allegedly the equivalent to horde grinding for kuafon, it should be rideable by both factions. It’s a cool model and I was honestly ready to drop cash on it at the in game shop prior to finding out it’s a faction locked questline…
Frankly, I’d love to see a tauren flying around on a bee mount, it’d beeee hilarious.

I’m perfectly fine with the bee mount being exclusive to the Alliance (and I play both factions). It fits environmentally since it’s from Kul’Tiras and it’s not the first time we’ve been done this round before where one faction got cooler mounts than the other. In Cataclysm, the Worgen ended up with two recolored horses (yeah, horses yet again) while Goblins received completely new motorcycle mounts. Having exclusive mounts to one side or the other gives the factions flavor.
When does the Horde get an exclusive mount?
I mean, the Alliance already freaked out when the Horde got a mount the Alliance could use. I can’t imagine the riots if the Horde were to get one they can’t.
