Bee hunter pet doesn't buzz

The first thing I did when I reached 120 was tame a Bee. While it is as cute as I expected, it is pretty underwhelming because of how quiet it is. I would expect a Bee to make buzzing sounds as it attacked, but there is nothing. No sound of any kind. Please let my Bee buzz when it attacks, like it should!

Not sure which one you’re using, but the one I called Buzzye does buzz as it attacks. Even my tank friend could hear it.

Maybe your sounds that falls under are fairly low, or maybe there’s just too much other ambient noise at the same time.

I just tamed the first Bee I saw. Was yours a rare? And I hear everything else fine so it’s not my settings.

what about the jarring idle animation bug. is that fixed yet?

My Bee Honeybunches only seems to buzz when she attacks or gets attacked. Im honestly glad though, if she were buzzing all the time it would probably get annoying hehe.

One thing I wish they would fix though is the weird up and down thing the bees do when idle, it looks very weird.

No, it wasn’t rare. It’s yellow and black and I think I tamed it in Stormsong Valley. I see on Petopia there is an orange and black one. In theory, they both should buzz though.

It’s been at least 3 weeks since I played, so maybe they stealth-nerfed the sound? I mean I don’t hear water elementals bubble anymore due to complaints, so maybe the buzz was too.

there’s a bee pet you can tame? stormsong valley you guys said? this… is most excellent.

Yup, you should find them in the eastern part of Stormsong Valley. They’re all tamable except for the all black one.

I only want it to buzz when in combat, too. But it doesn’t.

I’ve been playing with my sound settings and still nothing. Maybe I will tame a different bee and see if that helps.

Maybe… hope so. It’s is one of my favorites. 2nd only to my lovely blue raptors.

fixing sound bugs is not a priority. The dreadwake mount (a bought mount) doesn’t make a sound when doing the mount special, so I expect other similar things to not be on blizzards list of things to fix.

I’ve stood right next to him and still don’t hear a buzz. I am going to tame a new bee and see if that helps.

Which is the only one I want coz it reminds me of the carpenter bee that lives in my yard.
