I know I'm being subjective (that's what xmog is about) and I will cast the rage of many fantasy lovers and hippies upon me (more than one time) but... Aren't almost all druid sets ugly?!?! I can't make my female night elf druid look cute and cool and like her respective class like I did on my female dreanei warrior because almost all of the druid sets look the same to me: discarded, old, damaged, brown, with some flowers and cheap colorful stuff in the shoulders and ridiculous headpieces around the face...
Little disclaimer: I come from plate sets: many colors, heavily armored/well protected for the battle, with some ornamentation and details, some glowing lines and particles effects, that is what I find cool.
Besides Mythic BRF which is something different and the new cool wolf bear Antorus pretty much all of the druid sets look to me like if blizz denied love to the druids and took the lazy route designing their sets just sticking some flowers and colors on some ugly leather armor, at least for my taste I find really hard to stick to a druid set for a bit of class fantasy immersion instead of designing my own xmog with look alike pieces of other classes that I have collected. Hope next expansion blizz comes out with some actually cool looking sets.
What do you guys think?
Maybe comment on things like:
As a druid: do you like your druid sets or you want something that doesn't make you look like the annoying and dumb type of hippie?
As a non druid: do you think druids look cool or they look like those weird and annoying go green wannabe hippies hipster college kids?
For me, I enjoy playing the class but, as I said, I don't really like how they look so I xmog my druid with some flashier and more colorful pieces from sets from other classes instead of those brown, old, dusty and discarded looking druid sets... And of course I go for the neon animal forms from the feral challenge and the balance of power guardian appearances. What can I say? I'm the kind of person that usually goes for colorful and shiny stuff hahaha
And to finally finish with a proper final: A MEME I DID ON PAINT ABOUT THE TOPIC, enjoy: https://imgur.com/a/TJZZm
(btw sorry for bad english and don't mention that ICC druid set, I can't bear with that blender shaped helmet)
Well, if you don't think plants and animal skins are cool, you probably aren't going to think anything druids wear is cool.
But realistically, what else do you expect them to wear?
Like, if you think skull armor is lame, you'd probably think Death Knights don't have any cool armor either.
That's why my druid just wears the Assassination set. Total rogue armor, that's fortunately not rogue only.

Five years later, and this is the only armor transmog I bother using.
Unless they’re resto, Druids are shapeshifted most of the time, so...

I love the Antorus Druid set. I play Guardian on my druid, and the idea of a bear wearing another (multiple) bear(s) is just hilariously sick. That said, the set has sort of a Hunter feel to it, like I would legit expect to see a Hunter in the WoW universe to wear something like that. It has Bear-stalker written all over it.
Cannibal bear mog is amazing (still a work in progress) rawr =3
I'd have my full Gladiator PvP bear mog set if blizz would fix the broken PvP WQs... haven't seen any Gladiator gear since 7.3.2 dropped across 12 diff toons.
I like the wooden armor feel you can get with some druid stuff, but a lot of it is way too over the top.
But, that can be said about most WoW armor.

You need to rock the pvp set's m8. They've got a wide variety of pieces.
Most wrath gear fit's in with a variety of gear choices. So stock up on Classic&Wrath&WoD gear and mix and match what you come up with.
Sometimes less is more yo. Hide shoulders, pick out a nice helmet, no cloaks, matching weapons. Take your time and pick up something nice.

Just about every major Druid (might be all) wears leaves, feathers, and/or animal-themed armor. That's their lore.
So, if you're having problems getting "immersed" because of that, it's not Blizzard's fault.
Btw, I don't have any problems with my druid:

I actually disagree with you, I love the druid armor sets.
My three favorite tiers are Living Wood (mythic BRF - which you mentioned), Haunted Forest (Throne of Thunder), and Astral Warden (Nighthold/Emerald Nightmare).
But yeah, for the most part if you don't like nature themed leather pieces, wood, plant life, that sort of thing, some of the sets won't appeal to you. All of that is what makes up Druid lore.

I beg to differ.
Rogue sets are probably your best bet if you really want a sleek look. The green Ulduar set (even though extremely overdone) still looks great. The druid-only sets that I personally really like are tier 3, challenge mode, stormrider, haunted forest, and any of the mythic legion tiers.
Most druid sets are ugly. I am an unapologetic critique of druid and leather armor in general being mostly dull and boring since pretty much the game's beginning. There are a few really cool looking leather pieces out there (check my transmog) but as far as sets go most of the druid sets have disappointed me over the years and if not for transmog I probably wouldn't play a druid because the gear is so dull and boring looking. The only tier set for druids that has REALLY impressed me so far is tier 19 mythic druid tier set which looks so good that it almost feels like it was designed to make up for all the bad looking ones in the past. I'm currently trying to complete the look and the good news is you can farm everything (I think) except the shoulders from mythic emerald nightmare and other bosses in mythic nighthold so you don't have to specifically farm tier bosses over and over.
Anyway, yes druid sets are all too often very generic looking. Transmog makes up for it but I hardly ever get to go around showing off my new hard earned tier set because it hardly ever looks like I did anything great to get it. Whereas I look at paladin sets for example and think, "wow, those look super awesome! I'd be proud to show that off." For now though, I'll pretty much just be wearing the mythic 19 druid tier look once I finish it all through BFA even unless something better looking comes up.

I agree.. almost a year later lol.. I want a dark, druid specific set. Too bad tier sets were removed. Guess the elite gear from next season will have to due.
Look to Rogue, Monk, DH non class specific sets. Its the only way. Druid armor is pretty ugly. Guess they figure Druids will stay in animal/tree forms
