Beauty and the Beast, or Priestess and the Demon

This is the correct answer. I’m RPing an Illidari-satyr. The average night elf/Alliance citizen would want him dead immediately no matter who he’s aligned with or what oath he swore.

I’m always OOC in towns/cities. He really only gets to interact with those on the outskirts of society (other Illidari, outcasts, sometimes bounty hunters, etc) excepting very special circumstances (in disguise, being under official escort by another Illidari that will vouch for him, etc).

I realize that people stretch the lore a LOOOOT in walk-up RP but there’s always the issue of getting a reputation as “that” kind of demon RPer, but it really is about your expectations.

Personally, I stick to the lore that my character would not be accepted by the vast majority of society. Especially not other night elves considering their past history regarding the Legion/demons. Most HATE demons and don’t even want to tolerate Illidari very well, if you go strictly by canon lore. Illidan is not a beloved hero to most Kaldorei, but a traitor/power hungry madman.

But it’s all on who you want to RP with and how OK they are with either being strict to in-game lore or are willing to stretch it or ignore it. YMMV.

The past two days i decided to stay close in stormwind, and also visit Brewfest to experience more of dwarven culture. To my surprise, i was approached by a few of my sisters who actually supported my choice. They would not openly admit it for fear of being disowned by their own relatives and family, but they washed away the feeling of loneliness from being away from my fellow priestesses.

A demonic hunter also approached regarding her love for a Wyrmtongue (!?) servant aboard the Fel Hammer. (NPC love rather but still favorable to a demon.)

Its the kind of melting pot that you will never see in the trade district, or near Stormwind Keep. Places like the back alleys of the Dwarven district, or the Slaughtered Lamb have always been the black market of hidden connections and culture blending.

Visit the House of Nobles and its a pride pit of humans who elevate themselves above the other races.

“I can fix him.” Maniacal cackling in the background. Somewhere, a tavern burns.
