After playing most DPS specs, and swapping toons a lot, it always feels relaxing going back to BM.
Its not the best performing spec out there at all times. But it isnt the worst. And playing it is just so much more relaxing than other DPS specs, or Tanking.
So I feel that it is the taking a Warm Bath of DPS specs.

I was wondering why these beast masters were bathing with everyone…
I thought we had gone to the dark side of the internet for a minute

My BM hunter is mostly a farming alt. The spec is easy and dull to play, but I like it in small doses.

Because when you’re this amazing, sharing is caring…
I haven’t played it yet this xpac, but if I recall keeping frenzy up 100% of the time was no easy task, and going from three stacks to none was pretty detrimental.
It’s my favorite class/spec because I’ve had several strokes and it’s easy on my mobility and reaction time.

Yeah, you pretty much tanked if you let stacks fall with BW+Barbed on cooldown.
Definitely need WeakAura to keep track of the timer on it. Bonus if you have Beast Cleave tracker too.
Ya, it isn’t the easiest of tasks to stay at 3 unless you get lucky proccing a lot of barbed shot resets. Due to the short duration, I find it annoying to try and stay at 3 stacks while also watching the multi shot for aoe and moving around to avoid damage. Single mob fights it is easier to manage.
Having played a frost mage and rogue, I find the BM maintenance the most annoying. I used to hate slice and dice upkeep, but not anymore! I’d gladly take any rogue durations over 6 second multi shot and 8 second frenzies.
Other classes/specs have to manage uptimes but they don’t get to both stand wherever they want AND not have cast times. BM is for when you don’t want a challenge.
