There are so many dwarven style helmets that look amazing but just completely remove the beard, making them unusable. Please just have them clip through the bottom! I’m tired of using a WotLK helmet that preserves the beard.
The new trading post helmet is a prime example!
“Remove interesting character features” has been the only thing they’ve been doing to deal with clipping for years - it’s the same with elves and helmets, either the ears pierce through solid metal or are just not there.
All this does is shift the complaints to something else.
People are constantly making this demand on the subject of hair but helmets would be even worse than they currently are if hair and beards clipped through them.
Evolve and stop using helmets in your mogs. Most of them look like trash and even if they look alright these issues will always be present. Blizzard has an entire race that can’t even mog in its base form and you expect them to mold hair and beards to fit helmets without clipping?

I either don’t use headpieces or use stuff where it makes sense for things to clip.
Spoken like a snooty tooty elf. Beards are non-negotiable to real dwarves.
Then they wouldn’t cover it with a helmet. Dwarf up and take it off.
Almost every depiction of a dwarf warrior in fantasy wears a helmet. Try again.
Oh. Well I guess that means that I’m wrong and that beards clipping through helmets like rods of steel are imminent and a good thing.
Or maybe not.
Someone is trying to start a war of the beard.
It would just look weird to have my dwarf’s beard sprouting straight out through the face of a closed helmet. There are lots of open-faced helmet transmogs that show the beard.
One of my old favorites is the Wrath Scourgestalker set with the “gas mask” helmet. Having the beard visible would ruin it.
There are some “intermediate” helmets that just remove the beard. I just avoid those.
Outside of the Wrath helmets with 5 total pixels I don’t know of too many. A dwarf without a beard just looks like a short stocky human with a tiny head. No bueno.
I don’t know about non-mail classes, but my helmet appearance screens are literally filled with helmets that show his beard…
My only two dwarves are Hunter and Shaman, so…
