'Bear the Burden' is a poor solution

Protection Paladin PvP Talent ‘Bear the Burden’ is a poor solution to Prot’s mana issues. The 50% penalty to healing allies makes Word of Glory unusable for its intended purpose. On the other hand, the 10% mana cost without taking Bear the Burden ALSO makes Word of Glory almost unusable for its intended purpose. So basically in both cases, whether we take Bear the Burden or not, Word of Glory becomes completely gimped, and if we do take Bear the Burden, it’s actually really bad because it takes up one of our PvP Talent slots, in addition to being incredibly weak and penalizing already with its through-put. Bear the Burden is yet another new talent in the Paladin “rework” that ultimately falls flat and is not usable due to tonedeaf tuning and incomprehensible penalties. Get rid of the mana cost of Word of Glory, baseline, and just be done with it. You made a mistake adding 10% mana cost to WoG last expansion, you can admit it. Now you can fix that mistake, but the solution is not Bear the Burden, the solution is to revert the mana cost of WoG completely back to 0% as it was and always should be, given that it already costs 4 globals (3 globals to build holy power and 1 global to spend it) and it barely hits for anything anyways. Nobody wants tanks in arena

Good. If you want to heal play Holy. If you want to DPS play Ret. Tanks are meant for PvE. Go do that if you want.

So true bestie! Warlocks, Mages, and Shadowpriests should, in fact, be confined to PVE.

its bugged, it reduces healing on self by 50% too not only allies.

The only viable solution for prot pally is to grey out the “Join Battle” button while spec’d as it.
