Even worse…Bear has no slow until ever. Almost like they stitched the together the guardian spec at the last minute

That’s because the ability itself didn’t exist until … Wrath? Cata? It might have been called something different in Wrath, but the earliest patch notes about the ability in it’s current form were from the Cataclysm launch patch.

Feral Charge was the name of our interrupt in vanilla etc.

(We also used Bash a lot for the same purpose.)

Oh yeah, you’re right. That used to interrupt casting didn’t it? In addition to the 3 second root.

I think it always had a minimum range, though, so it was hard to use on something in melee.

EDIT: Yep, 8 yard range and it required 5 rage.

Back in the days when Swipe was a frontal cone that hit a maximum of 3 targets, and we couldn’t use pots or healthstones while shapeshifted.

And when we got to eat crushing blows with no mitigation! I got 2 shot by Gorefiend due to back to back crushing blows.

Vanilla bear threat was crazy, though. About the only good thing about bears back then.
