I got mine with practise. I feel special now with it. To make it a rare skin, please do not nerf it blizzard. I beg of you. Those who worked for it want to ensure it stays challenged so that we feel like we earned it.
I repeat, do not make it obtainable to those who wont try.
Yes, directly nerfing the encounter after it has been available for several weeks would diminish all the effort dedicated players put into earning it now. I think that the Guardian challenge in particular is in a fine spot and doesn’t need tweaks.
I’m sure they wont this cycle. Id be surprised if they didn’t next cycle. Blizz tends to appease the majority over the minority in many cases… cause ya know, subs.

Especially for content like this. Where there is literally no reason for it to be this tightly tuned as to make it unfun.
It’s already a blunder enough with the fact that it’s “Disney vault limited!” with its spawn sequence every 3 months.
I pretty sure the majority of people who tried it haven’t defeated it.
Don’t engage with the “it’s fine” trolls, it’s always the same 5 people and their Classic alts.
And you can recognize them as trolls easily : they’ll just blanket statement “it’s all fine!” even though there’s a huge disparity between the 36 encounters.
And they’ll also use the strawman where if you want minor adjustments to make the pain points of the harder encounters more comfortable and lenient, they’ll claim you want to make it completely dead easy.
It’s a completely optional bit of side content that only awards cosmetics.
Having difficult prestige things that not everybody can do is FINE.
If anything we need more content like this.

Yes, we’re trolls for wanting a solo challenge in the game. Sorry that everyone doesn’t want a fall over snooze fest in every corner of the game.
That’s not really a reason not to nerf it, though. Raid encounters are routinely nerfed over the course of a tier.
Painsmith is a pretty blatant example. They basically turned the first half of that fight into its heroic version, whereas it was a straight-up nightmare from the very first set of waves/balls on release.
Boy, it’s a good thing I find druids to be a trash class to play so I’m immune to all this rage over the MT appearance.
A prime example of how utterly moronic Blizzard’s “we don’t want to diminish player efforts” justification for keeping the weapons locked away was. Then they also turn around and make the challenges harder and for crappier rewards while catering to one specific spec 
Yeah that’s different though because raids will be nerfed eventually anyway as we get more gear and levels in future expansions.
Plus, raiding just isn’t comparable to a solo challenge for costmetic gear. It’s apples to oranges.
This should stay the same difficulty forever. The only thing they should maybe consider is letting future tier sets work in it, just because it could be fun.
And it’s entirely down to what difficulty the devs think will end up being best. It’s going to be arbitrary either way.
I’ve got no problem if they leave it as is, or shave a couple more % off of Kruul’s HP to push those who are struggling over the edge into being able to finish.
Nerfs Happen: The players who got it already feel their accomplishment is cheapened.
Nerfs Don’t Happen: The players who can’t get it are extremely angry.

lol… I think those completing it are the minority. And with an average 150+ attempts… a nerf is merited.
I got the original mage tower appearance on this character with an ilvl of 872. That means nothing if you didn’t play during Legion. That means a lot if you played guardian druid then.
This version is still much more difficult than the previous. I tried twice, got to phase 2 twice and realized I will never use the green glowy bear over the beautiful white one I got 4 years ago.
I was able to do it in Legion, without the use of the Luffa leggo. In about 45 attempts. Not the greatest tank but also not the worse. I am at now 120 attempts on this and am currently broke due to Consumables etc. If I get the skin, i will never go in there again. Yea it is a bit over tuned.
in legion it was built around the Leggos. Now when we go in there is nothing. No conduits, Cov powers etc.
If i remember correctly it was said that the Mage Tower was to be exclusive to Legion. Now this crap. Not one to really post negativity, but it should have been left to Legion only.
At least allow Cov powers or conduits.
