Most people play WoW like a very expensive mobile-collection game
All they do is chase dopamine dings every time they get a new mount or ilvl goes up by 3
I mean, I love my collections tab too.
Let’s be real, I imagine a lot of people would stop playing if they wiped their accounts.

I’m late stage addiction here. I’m hooked on years of collected crap, new stuff doesn’t even appeal to me anymore.
Just chasing the nostalgia hit when I mog a legion elite set, or use some obnoxious title I spent far too much time on (crusader or prospector…)
