I raised a ticket for this already but it seems like the GM did not read the message and closed my ticket making it unable to be reopened.
The prepatch you have released this week has broken many achievements that have multiple steps. You can see this clearly if you look in the achievement section of the forums. The last GM asked me to do troubleshooting steps which are irrelevant, as the achievement is not giving me progress as my character has already “COMPLETED” it. It has nothing to do with my cache or WTF folder. The issue is it is not counting the progress for the guests i had before the patch, which means it is not possible to complete the achievement.
I have just completed the ember court daily again on the above charachter (Tustis - Frostmourne), and did not receive any credit for the “Be My Guest” meta achievement again. (Completed with: The Countess, Polemarch Adrestes, Sika & Grandmaster Vole)
I think I am not getting credit as I already completed all of them (but Lady Moonberry and Choofa),before pre patch, and i am unable to earn the “quest” credit required to tick off the achievement again.

Posting this here as the GMs keep closing my ticket and not being helpful.
Anyone have any tips to talk to a real person not a robot GM that cant read?

You may not like it, but that’s a human GM answering those tickets.
They often don’t give good answers, however.
But the main problem is that if it’s a bug, they’re powerless. The devs won’t let them do anything until they (the devs) troubleshoot enough to decide what can be done. GMs aren’t allowed to wave their magic wands and “just fix things” any more. They do what the developers allow them to do and nothing more.
Your bug report post (which is a copy/paste of this? or the other way around?) is the appropriate action, but nothing can help until the bug gets worked by the devs.

Issues with achievements breaking is on the Known Issues list.

GMs are not going to be able to assist with this unless given the ability to do so by the Devs. As it is a known issue, they are aware and working to correct the issues. It is far better to correct the overall issue than risk breaking more things by individually meddling on a case by case basis.

Cheers for the replies! Haha, i know they’re human but they could at least say “we are aware and working on it” with a link to the forums, not send me the usual troubleshooting BS that they know wont work, and close my ticket and stop me from opening it.
Hopefully the dev team are able to sort themselves out and fix this ASAP then, wouldve got the achi on prepatch day if it wasnt broken.

I was amazed (but also a little sad) for all the people who needed just one more objective, and it hadn’t come up in a long time, and then RNG gave up and allowed it to come up, but the rest of the achievement had been reset by this bug.

Same here! I was very glad I completed the Dragonflight meta for Taivan a week ago, because most of those are broken now!
Hopefully the devs get it sorted in a few weeks, last thing i want to do is farm anima on another alt and level up another ember court just for the achi.

Nope the GMs are not humans anymore, they hired Salesforce to do the ticketing replies now and Salesforce IS using AI to cut down on costs, that’s why the replies are so quick now but if you run the replies or just really read the replies, they are obviously canned AI responses. It’s a sad day so you wont’ be getting answers not that they have them!

Yeah after replying to them the third time they told me to delete my cache they emailed me saying stop raising this or we may have to ban your account, great customer service!
