Just wanted to say that even though this is just a game, it never hurts to be kind to one another. You never know what someone is going through IRL.
Please…try to say a few kind words to one another each day. You never know who needs to hear them and what it may mean to them.

I always try to be friendly in WoW, it’s a little disheartening though because i say hello every time i zone into a random dungeon/raid in Remix and the vast majority of the time nobody responds

I’m at a loss honestly. I’m not sure what to do. I got some extremely concerning discord messages last night and I’m honestly worried…
Maybe they were just drinking… idk what to do for the guy. All I can do is hope they respond to my messages
I treat people exactly how they treat me. Sometimes its good and sometimes its bad. But its 100% entirely dependent on them. Being nice for the sake of being nice is the quickest route to being a doormat.

In WOW, it’s a challenge every day, because even in open world you’re competing with people who think nothing of ganking that mob you’ve been waiting on to spawn for 20 minutes, or rushing in to harvest that node you’re clearing, or otherwise act like self-absorbed jerks… and the playerbase has this subset of people who think the only way to elevate themselves, is to step on someone else, as seen in the attitudes and statements of certain players around here.

Respect for others. It is completely free and always needed. We can absolutely disagree with one another, but there’s never a need to make it personal. I say as gamers we should unite more and appreciate one another and be thankful that all of us were willing to be here to help support a game many of us have loved for two decades. I know there would not be a World of Warcraft without 8 million other people and that does not go unnoticed.
i try to live by the golden rule, which includes calling people out on their BS. I’m not immune to that and need the same “tough love” sometimes.
