The hype has died for me and all thats left is mindless grinding that I don’t experience in retail. I miss retail, what about you?

Go back to retail man. Do what you enjoy doing. I’m still loving every minute of classic. I have a 16, 25, 27 and 31 level toons now and I’m only just starting to settle on one (31). I have every intention of taking one of every class on each faction to 60. I may even have more than one class because I want racial combos for different stuff.
Do what makes you happy.

No, I don’t miss retail. I don’t force myself to choose one or the other, either. I occasionally log in to retail and remember exactly why I prefer Classic. I don’t think I have spent more than 2 hours playing retail since Classic was released, tbh.

I would miss retail if it had any mmo left too it. If they remove the lfg and cross realm i would go back. But as it stands there are much better single player games.

There is nothing to do in retail… send troops on some missions? Farm my 50th transmog gear set? Do boring dailies for nothing?
I love classic and just spent 2 levels grinding in STV to make sure both my toons had mount money right at 40.

Retail/Classic is not a dichotomy that exists to me. They’re two entirely different games designed 15 years apart, just because they’re made by the same company doesn’t make it a binary choice. If I get tired of classic I’ll stop playing, but there’s no “going back to retail” for me because “retail” is not a video game that I play. I play WoW Classic.

I still play. There’s a lot of achievements i’m working on, so when i’m not leveling/farming in classic, I play on my main.

I miss the snappiness of pressing buttons from BFA.
That’s because, currently, something feels way more off than it should feel in regards to batching, unresponsiveness, delays, etc. Especially pets, which is a huge issue and numerous posts in the bug forum have been made about them.
That’s about it.
When they fix the weirdness with batching affecting more than it needs to and all the class bugs, it’ll be fine. It should work like it did in Vanilla. Right now it’s a mess.
